qualche cosa in bagno da rimodernare, per esempio pomelli di lavandino e doccia, ma sono dettagli di poco conto.

Front of house staff could not be ruder and unhelpful. I took everything with a small pinch of salt as I understand English is not their first language, but they were incredibly unhelpful. We shared our thoughts on our standard room which did not look anything like what you’re shown in the pictures. On booking.com they used the same 4 pictures for every room type. VERY MISLEADING. We thought we were getting a room with a balcony (given the pictures shown on the website you’d believe that too), but alas, no balcony. When we mentioned this the lady at reception shrugged her shoulders and told us we booked an “economy room” and she could move us and we would have to pay more.

The room was very small and claustrophobic, especially when the aircon is non existent. The bathroom felt like a damp sauna 99% of the time. The shower hadn’t been cleaned during our stay, the doors on the shower had stained water mark residue all week and the doors themselves were broken.

The room was “serviced” every day, but this left a lot to be desired. The bathroom soap and shower gel were not refilled once over an 8 night stay. It was hard to tell if the floors were ever swept as the shedded skin of a local lizard was present in the room for 3-4 days. The used glasses in our room hadn’t been changed once.
On day 4 of our stay, the wifi stopped working on our side of the hotel. Which was never fixed, and we’re barely got an apology for it: The fridge in the room didn’t work either, it actually made drinks warmer.

We were told we are not allowed to pay for drinks we ordered at the bar or the towels we rented, and would have to wait until we checked out to settle the bill. Also when we settled our bill, I shared the issues once again and without me mentioning of discounts from the bill, they jumped down my throat to say they can’t give discounts or make changes, and it was what it was. They told me I can go make a review if I want.

Receptionist ladies were unfriendly or very unfriendly, we were not told that the hotel had agreement with beach with umbrellas, we got known at our own initiative day before departure only, room keys were al exhibited on desk in evening: take any you want!!
First day we were given cappuccino presumably from automatic machine which was undrinkable for an Italian taste. Next day I requested normal capuccino and got tasty drink. For supper we asked insalata caprese on day 0, i.e. mozzarella and pomodoro in essence and mozzarella was not eatable for Italian standard: rubber consistence balls without any sign of milk in them. It was unacceptable as in Campagna mozzarella is delicious and in fact on one of next days we got normal there mozzarella. Altogether those issues with cappuccino and mozzarella together with unfriendly reception ladies spoiled a lot and yield 6 of 10. Otherwise take care of pool water as at 19.00 when it gets closed personnel pours lots of some chlorine powder in pool they say to disinfect ... water gets white like when we clead WC with Clorox... impressive. I did not swim as I saw that... not a normal procedure in swimming pools in Europe.
Food for supper had little if any taste. Strange. I distinguish food taste well. This tasteless food though I met in many cheap hotels on Ischia. But this hotel was not cheap. Strange...

alla colazione al buffet erano finite le uova. ho chiesto al cameriere se potesse preparare delle omelett, in maniera anche poco garbata, mi chiede il numero della stanza e scrive tipo una ricevuta. dopo mi rendo conto che avrebbe fatto pagare come extra. chiedo se era così e mi conferma, a quel punto faccio presente che al buffett erano finite, che lui avrebbe dovuto informarmi che le avrei pagate come extra, e a quel punto avrebbe dovuto fornirmi un menu con listino prezzi. dopo le mie rimostranze, con atteggiamento di chi mi ha concesso un favore, mi informa che le stesse uova le avrebbe stornate dal conto e quindi non mi era dovuto pagarle, a gentile concessione. un hotel storico con ricordi di buone recensioni non me lo aspettavo sinceramente. anche i teli per andare in una minuscola spa vengono fatti pagare, con quello che costa per il soggiorno dovrebbero includerlo.

Cibo non di qualità a mio giudizio considerato il costo del pasto. La colazione poteva essere} più curata rispetto a frutta o affettati

Il letto era duro e scomodo ed erano due letti singoli uniti anche male. Bagno vecchio con sanitari arrugginiti. Nonostante il prezzo elevato abbiamo dovuto pure pagare la bottiglia d’acqua che era presente in camera. Struttura vecchia e poco confortevole. Colazione poco varia
