I’ve always liked the Desmond but there could be some upgrades

The property was clean. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was good. The facilities were excellent.

Cons:

It was pretty busy, catering to a party venue. A lot of kids in the swimming pool.

A faded grand hotel who used to care about excellence.
Pros:

The staff were very helpful, friendly & professional. The jacuzzi was tepid, the pool was cool, the floor around the pool had 1/2 inch of water every where & there was visible refuse on the floor.

We slept well. The bed was very comfortable. The room service was the biggest disappointment. It arrived in a paper bag!!!???!!!
Paper to go coffee cups, eco plastic takeout containers, eco plastic utensils, catsup packets, etc.
I don’t call this room service. I call this takeout. A $60 lukewarm breakfast served in a paper bag was not what we had in mind. Extremely disappointing.

They seem to be having an identity crisis. What once was a grand hotel is a bit tired & sad. Staff are wonderful & deserve better, just as the guests do.

Cons:

The room service, pool & jacuzzi.

Great hotel, great room, and great value in King of Prussia
Pros:

The location and accommodations were excellent for staying in the King of Prussia area. The overall condition of the room was like new and very comfortable for everyone.
