Pros:

This quaint inn is very convenient to the downtown area and walkable to the train station. The room we’d originally booked had a ‘maintenance issue’ so we were told we were ‘upgraded’ to a Carriage House room. Loved that there a living area as well as a full kitchen (which we didn’t use), but the sliding glass door didn’t lock. We requested maintenance, but nothing was ever done. We had to improvise our own door stop with luggage racks. Bed was comfy and shower was hot with great pressure. Breakfast was simple but convenient. The real downside was the lack of internet. They claim to have internet, but it never really worked. Barely registered on a speed test. Not sure I’d stay here again but with foliage in full splendor, there weren’t many other available options.

Give this a miss. Over-rated.
Pros:

Let me start with no elevator and very steep stairs. No offer to help two seniors with their luggage to get to our third floor room. Once we made it to our “Deluxe King Room” at $300 per night, we were struck by the lack of basics that made it “deluxe”. Sure, there was a small settee shoved in the corner described as a couch and a small chair set in between the nightstand and the wall to the bathroom – but both were unusable given the layout of the room. The room included:
• A 22” TV on the large wall opposite the king (true king, nice) bed, the effect is a postage stamp entertainment center. Cable only, no streaming services.
• A set of five paper dixie cups in the bathroom, with one very small bar of soap to share between the two sinks.
• No wine opener or wine glasses in the room. There was a shared wine opener and glasses you could grab in the downstairs public area, but there was a sign that you must leave the opener in the lounge.
• A small shared refrigerator in a downstairs alcove. I travel with the need to refrigerate medicine, which was in this shared location. Good luck finding space though, because the fridge is full of boxes of leftovers from other guests’ dinner last night (or no idea how long they have been there, nor any idea when it was last cleaned out).
• No in room coffee capability. No ability to make coffee in the shared area. We had to go out and get coffee because we woke up before well before the one-hour breakfast time allotment for the ent

Family trip in North Conway
Pros:

My family stayed at the Cranmore Inn during our Northeast road trip, and we had an excellent experience! The place is really cute and clean, and the staff was very nice and helpful. They serve breakfast everyday and it was delicious. And there's a nice outdoor space with a swing set, grassy area, and swimming pool. I definitely recommend this Inn for families traveling in North Conway!

Enjoyable stay. Room was nice and warm in spite of very cold temperatures some nights. Very good location - off the main street but close to shops and restaurants. Walking distance to the cross country ski trails. Dawn on reception was very helpful.

Wonderful place to stay, with friendly inkeepers and absolutely amazing breakfast! The pancakes are a must-have and a great way to fuel up before a busy day in the mountains! After being out all day, the rooms are perfect to come back to; beds are comfortable and rooms are cozy and well-decorated.

Such a quaint B&B. The staff was accommodating with our late arrival and there was a fire in the fire pit when we arrived. The breakfast was terrific the next morning. We had a cozy and comfortable room!
