Great place but take a fan during hot weather
Pros:

We have stayed at The Globe multiple times. We love the location, the breakfast and the food has always been good. Staff are pleasant and it has a nice, relaxed atmosphere.

Cons:

It’s our own fault because we knew what it was like during a heatwave a few years ago and we wished we’d cancelled our trip this time, which was during the 3rd heatwave of the year. The fan provided is insufficient to cool down the room, which was considerably hotter than the outside temperature. I asked for a spare fan but was not given one, even though rooms that weren’t being used due to upgrade works had unused fans in them. One Dyson hot/cool fan is not adequate so I’d recommend taking your own if you are visiting during the summer by car. Otherwise, I do have to stress we love it here.

Pros:

Everything, accommodation clean and nicely decorated
Everything you need, shower spotlessly clean, even a little welcome pack for ya and one for the dogs. Also Dyson air cooler which was great for the heat wave.

Cons:

Nothing!!! Pub was a little pricey but no different to any London pub so we're used to it. One thing we did find was that being a family of four with two very hungry boys, after 9pm we were stuck for food options other than takeaways.

As a returning guest, was as good as ever👍

No on-site parking but accept that parking in Topsham is a problem generally
