Topsham is a beautiful location. It was easy to find and the room was clean and spacious. The bedroom furniture needs updating as there is damage to bedside tables. It had a good shower and comfortable bed.
We were charged an extra £20 to check in early as we had driven from Pembrokeshire to attend a wedding and needed to shower and change. I thought that was unnecessary as I run two holiday cottages and have never charged extra for an early check-in.
The rooms were well laid out. Had great tea and coffee choices. And large bottle of water. Very clean
Nice touch was a gentle sensor light for the bathroom as you walk in.

Lovely large twin-bedded room off courtyard. Comfortable beds and nicely fitted out.
It was a bit noisy from the courtyard outdoor seating area and these rooms need better sound insulation.
We stayed twice inside of 20 days, in dog friendly rooms, room 23 was better than 20 more modern shower room
No fridge in the room
Great place for an overnight stop between the Midlands and Cornwall. Minutes off the main road but it's a different world. Enjoyed a walk by the river, a beer in another pub before returning to the Globe for a lovely meal and drinks.
Great breakfast in the morning to set you on your way.
No negative comments. Some might miss on-site parking but the public car park is so close we didnt notice. You walk further in an airport!
