The location was amazing, for the money the place felt so elevated and lovely. Breakfast was great, you get one hot meal and then can go to the cold buffet bar.
Don’t have any complaints! Staff were great 😊
Very nice location and comfortable public areas
We booked a classic suit all the suites where named we got a room no 127 when I rang reception i was told it was a suit nothing like the hotel pictures it had a king size bed and 2 chairs and a round table nice bathroom
In the picture it shows a sofa flowers on the table and very welcoming just very disappointing for £200+ for the night
Location cleanliness breakfast
From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted by a very welcoming and friendly lady on reception. Our room was stunning and the huge bed was so comfortable.
Wide range of drinks in the room and some biscuits.
We had dinner in the restaurant 'Oscars' and the food was exceptional.
The waiting staff were brilliant and efficient and the young man (sorry I didn't get his name but wore a blue waistcoat) asked if we would like to watch the England game and if so, he would put it on in the Grand Hall for us.
Nothing was too much trouble for himself or any of the other staff.
Breakfast was lovely, with a great selection of items included in the room price.
The grounds are spectacular and the whole place is our little sanctuary when we need to just relax and unwind for the night. I highly recommend this place.
Nothing at all negative to say.
Staffs were very polite.. Good location and very good breakfast.
The surroundings.
Receptionist was lovely
The bathroom could have been cleaner.
Being woken by the trains.
Not able to get anything to eat after 9pm other than chilli crisps or some other strange flavour.
Little touches like the birthday card added and an upgrade to the suite.
We were informed there was going to be loud music until midnight of the day we stayed. We had the option to cancel but we didn't mind. The music was to our taste anyways 😀.
Staff were always on hand and any concerns or questions were answered quickly (when contacted online).
There wasn't anything to not like.
How wonderful and helpful reception day and evening staff was also the breakfast team
Nothing everything super
Great location, excellent breakfast and very helpful and friendly staff
Shower was very hot even on the coolest setting and a bit too powerful!
Beautiful hotel.
Lovely hotel and grounds. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Breakfast was nice with lots of choice, including a good variety of fresh fruit.
No real coffees included with breakfast. The room was very nice, but the TV was at the foot of the bed, making it difficult to sit and watch from the side.
Lovely grounds, stunning building. I was upgraded to a suite which was a great treat! Really friendly and accommodating staff. This will be my new stop for exploring the lakes
