Baltazár Boutique Hotel by Zsidai Hotels

Great boutique hotel in the Buda castle district. It is in an isolated area from all the tourist traffic but 5 minutes walking from all the action in the area. I would recommend taking the breakfast option. Also, we had lunch once at the hotel restaurant and it was a perfect change from Hungarian food. If you can, ask to stay in room 33 - quite original layout and decoration and super spacious. The staff (Daniel at reception in particular) was very friendly. From the Baltazar it will take a 15 min cab ride to Pest on the other side of the Danube river. Highly recommend the Baltazar boutique hotel!

Great location. I felt very good it was very prívate.

We did enjoy our stay. Comfortable bed, good lighting in the room. AC that worked well.
The hotel is well served by local bus but away from the central city.
It was a shame we were unable to order a glass of wine at 20.45 on our return. Told everything closed despite about 3 members of staff present.

Lovely little boutique hotel in a great location at Buda Castle. Quiet at night and has a great restaurant. Would happily visit again. Our suite was spacious and well appointed.

We have been on a 3 week Eastern European vacation staying in high end hotels in Venice, Hungary, Serbia, Montenegro and Croatia. This little gem surprised us the most out of 8 hotels. Tiny and wonderful with great people, service, food, views, location. Highly recommend!

Great location and comfortable stay in the heart of the castle district of Budapest! Polite and friendly staff. The pastry breakfast included wasn’t great, after a week I never want to see a croissant again. Great for the first couple of days but very repedative

We absolutely loved it. Their kitchen is very very good. The room we had was very stylish and charming and brand new. Everything about it was great.

Loved the location! Great room, friendly staff. My only recommendation would be to have a 24 hour concierge rather than 7am- 7pm person to address all needs outside those hours.

SHOULD NOT BE ADVERTISED AS HAVING A RESTAURANT OR BAR because Restuarant was closed and bar closed by 7.00pm

The Hotel room and service from the staff was top class. They arranged a transfer from the airport which was on time and prompt. The room was spacious, comfortable and well designed.

Unfortunately due to Cvd issues and staffing the bar and rest was closed. Such a shame as it looks lovely and would have been very nice after a day sightseeing. Although assured it will be open fully sometime in May.

However Pest Buda (sister hotel) down the road was open and was very nice.

The free breakfast was a little underwhelming with only croissants juice and coffee offered. I’d have expected something more substantial.

The Buda side to the city is a lot quieter than Pest. So take that into account with your preferences. 30min walk to Pest side.

But I would highly recommend the hotel when fully open and functioning.

This hotel was amazing. The decor was so cute and charming. The room that we stayed in was absolutely beautiful. The high ceilings and furniture made it feel more like a home then a hotel. We loved the hospitality so much that we decided to book another night. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Plus the food at their restaurants was delicious. We were celebrating a birthday and they brought out our desert with a firework 😁
