Ankobra Beach Resort

It was good to be back at the hotel after 2 years, and to find out that nothing has changed in terms of the quality of the services and the hotel infrastructure. The staff are still as dedicated and helpful as ever, and the dinners were as delicious and fresh as we remembered them. Definitely worth a few days stay, especially if looking for place to really unwind and relax.

The property was clean, quiet, serene. It reminded me of what the biblical garden od eden may have looked like. A very stunning place indeed!

Ankobra ist wunderbar gelegen u geht eine schöne Symbiose mit der Bevölkerung ein. Es ist überschaubar u naturnah, aber sehr gemütlich u ansprechend gestaltet. Die Preise sind ok.
Nicht ok ist, dass das was die bestellten Personen für Transport bekommen u was sich die Angestellten offensichtlich selbst in die Tasche stecken. Das war in anderen Besertungen auch schon geschrieben. Bei uns ein Verhältins von 900 Fahrer u 400 Vermittlungsgebühr. Und toll wäre wenn das Hotel stärker mit der Friedrichsburg kooperieren könnte, Da sitzen tolle Leute, die Strasse ist inzwischen nagelneu gemacht, es ist gut erreichbar u ein unglaublicher Ort mit schrecklicher, auch deutscher Kolonialgeschichte u Ideen für ein neues u friedvolles Heute von engagierten Leuten, wie die Besitzer von Ankroba offensichtlich auch. Wir hatten einen netten Austausch mit den Volontärs u anderen Gästen u einigen sehr freundlichen Angestellten,

The was beautiful, and Emmanuel took such great care of us during our one-night stay. The main issue was that the water body along the beach was polluted from the effects of the Galamsey illegal mining. This was very unfortunate and the property did not notify me that the water was not swimmable. I found out after asking them questions and ultimately requested a refund to go somewhere else. Getting here is costly as there aren't many affordable taxi options.

Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, das Abendessen hat qualitativ ziemlich nachgelassen .
Die Anlage ist hervorragend gepflegt.

Wunderschöne weitläufige Anlage am Strand mit viel Grün. Unser Zimmer war gross, sauber, gut ausgestattet und liebevoll dekoriert. Das Personal war absolut top. Sehr professionell und äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war hervorragend, ein absoluter Genuss. Ich wäre sehr gern länger geblieben.

A peaceful oasis in the western region. The restaurant has great options of tasty food and the service is superb.

The staff at Ankobra are warm and welcoming. While relaxing at the beach, they provided regular and attentive service to bringing drinks and taking orders for the upcoming meal. The family villas are spacious and clean.
My one hesitation is that the quality of the food, while adequate, is not good value for the cost.

Ankobra Beach Resort is a piece of paradise in Ghana. All the staff are brilliant, attentive, friendly and welcoming. The location is magical and away from all the hustle, bustle and noise. It’s the perfect place to relax.

Eco-friendly resort with great and helpful staff, awesome massages, roomy cabins, clean beach. They did have some availability issues at the restaurant. They ran out of many staples both beverages and food. Food is good when available. Would definitely recommend if that issue gets addressed.
