It's as shown, lovely family run business, great value and far enough away from the strip to be very peaceful and relaxing.

Overall pretty good! Friendly staff and good facilities. The room was not as clean as one would expect but nothing scandalous.

Pool needs work had to move to another room due to mold

Friendly staff and polite owner, quite location, fantastic deluxe room with tv and many channels, delicious breakfast.They have tours and scooters for rent with reasonable prices. If you see the cat coming through the hotel please pamper him is very lovely. Highly recommended this place.

It was a trip for 4 days 3 nights to Lombok and stay at Villa Maatano. It was really a memorable stay at VM with a great friendly staffs and owners of hotel.

But, Overall a Nice Hotel with Good Hospitality and Value for Money. Will stay there again in our Next trip to Lombok!!!

Cozy and simple hotel room, nice swimming pool. Nice view of the mountain.

Lovely New Hotel.

Very Villa like. 5 minute walk to the beach and nice restaurants.

Staff were excellent. Comfortable King bed.

If you are on the upper levels be prepared to walk a lot of stairs.

The staff are lovely but I did not enjoy my stay here because the room was infested with ants, the television did not work at all, and the room was very noisy - right next to a kitchen with dozens of staff making loud noises early in the morning and I could hear every word they were saying. The location is also not the best.

The hotel is located 20 to 30 minutes from town center. The main problem we had was very weak air conditioning. The unit size is inadequate for the size of the room. The room was large and spacious and had a separate area with bar stools and refrigerator. Ok minimal breakfast. They provided a complimentary afternoon snack. We have mixed feelings. AC was a major issue. The beach is maximum 10 minutes. The property has a swimming pool that we did not use.

Had a lovely 3d2n. Room was nice, spacious for 2. Clean. Love the pool view just in the morning, it's a little bit noisy when other guests are occupying the pool, but bearable. Breakfasts were served to our room, which was nice! Location is good. We rented the motorbike to move around. Staffs were friendly. Overall it was a nice stay and would recommend our friends/family to stay here! :)

I can't report anything negative about this hotel because there is no negative. Very nice hotel with super clean rooms and a great staff including John that went out his way to make my stay enjoyable. I will definitely choose Villa Mataano again when I go to Lombok in November 2017, I highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel, very friendly staff. Room was very spacious . Every afternoon when we returned to our room they brought an afternoon drink and snack. That was really a really nice surprise. Its located a bit away from things but has a couple of restraunts and the beach with walking distance . Cabs very reasonable.

John was really helpful and assisted us in booking taxis/excursions. The staff were very friendly. Great facilities, clean room, tasty breakfast but a little out the way of the main drag so quiet!

Villa Mataano is a lovely, modern, clean hotel. The service they provide is very organized and consistent. Breakfast is reserved the evening before and served on your balcony at the time you choose - between 7 and 10am. The Hotel provides lovely free snacks and drinks in the afternoon to guests served in your room. The wifi worked perfectly which was great. There were very few English TV channels but the hotel arranged to provide us with a DVD and a wide selection of films. The pool is lovely. The hotel is walking distance to the beach which is long and a great place to watch the sunset. Overall a lovely comfortable stay

The staff and owners of Villa Mataano are fantastic! We loved it so much here, we extended our stay from 3 nights to 7. Highly recommend staying here, it's a short walk into Senggigi. Nice quiet location, our daughter loved the pool, and the afternoon snack & tea each day is a very nice touch. Would definitely stay again.

When we first arrived at Villa Mataano, we've already stayed in a couple of "3-4" stars hotel in Indonesia which really wasn't up to standard. So we weren't really expecting much, but as soon as we checked in, we were greeted with such great hospitality that carried on for our entire stay. Beautiful place, good location to avoid all the noise but yet still be close enough to them. Cheers Villa Mataano! I'll be back soon enough!
