Hotel sporco, le stanze non sono uguali a come le vedi nelle foto, bagno con tenda strappata, ascensore sempre sporco anche di vino, camera piccola da non riuscire nemmeno ad aprire la valigia, rumoroso. Per il prezzo pagato veramente terribile. Nemmeno il pass per la spiaggia ci hanno fornito.
We booked for 2 nights to go to the beach. Upon arrival the police were evicting a very dirty looking man was being eacorted out of the premises with his belongings. We went to a room with ONE king sized bed, no couch or chair, asked for a cot..no rugs..toilet not working without lifting the cover , for 40 minutes listened to some brothers cursing a nd fighting under the window. We paid $400+ for 2 nights and left after less than an hour to get another hotel 20 minutes away. This is DEFINITELY a welfare hotel. Bed had dirt and hair on it, decorative pillows covered in blue lint...the room gave us the creeps. Room echoed due to lack of rugs. The security gard was kind.STAY AWAY.

Much of the hotel is SECTION 8 housing, not expected when paying this amount for a room. Upon arrival, there was a group of "tenants" on the front steps and in the lobby. With that in mind, I was startled when someone walked into my room at 2am. Guest apologized and went back to front desk to have them assign a new room. At 2:30 . security knocked on door to ask for ID and confirm that I was in proper room. Hotel did not check me in properly. If I was with family, This could have been a real problem. Such a shame. I travel quite a bit and this is bottom of my list for good experiences.
Very basic hotel, and you need to know that you have to pay $17.50 to access the beach, or pay $15 at the hotel. All beaches are like that. Coffee and hot water in the lobby. Free Big Fresh bagels with butter or cream cheese in the lobby in the morning and cereal filled bowls and milk. That was a nice surprise since the hotel was listed as not having a free breakfast. Our room felt damp and the towels were damp too. A higher air conditioning unit was dripping very loudly on our own unit. The desk people were very nice. The lady manager told us how to get on a train to go to New York and we had a great day. There is a security guard on the premises 24 hours a day. Lots of Free parking on the street or $25 in a parking garage.
Absolutely disgraceful we booked this hotel in good faith as a family of 3 visiting our son who is working in a nearby beach club. As we went to get into the lift a lady said oh you are in the wrong lift this is for social housing. Then I quickly noticed a lot more which did not make me feel
Comfortable or safe. I am shocked that they get away with charging guests. We paid over $300 for a 1 night stay. This is the first time ever in my life that I had this experience anywhere in the world. Do not stay here unless you are fully aware of what you are entering into.
the location, a block and a 1/2 from the beach. It is the quieter part of Long Beach, which i appreciated. The gentleman who was at the desk who registered us was wonderful. the staff at the bar were very pleasant. I read some awful reviews about cleanliness. I had no issue with the bathroom or the furniture. But this is not a room to spend time in. It is for showering, getting dressed and sleeping. I am glad I only planned one night. A sign outside said under new management and renovations are taking place. Maybe they are mid-reno, so it could be better soon.
The floor in the room needs a refresh. I would not walk on it with out my flip flops on. the sheets were baseline. the gentleman at the desk when I came in past midnight to ask for advice after driving around for 40 minutes unsuccessfully looking for a parking spot was not pleasant. BTW, they have a parking lot. it costs $27 per day. Free street parking is a blessing you can't count on, even though it is listed as an amenity. Very misleading.
The only things I like are the location, and the friendly staff.
First of all, it was way too pricey for the accommodations we had. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I had ever slept on my entire life, with the exception of the time I went camping. My body was in pain every single morning, I couldn't sleep because of the noise at all times of the night. The floor was dirty and sticky. The air conditioner was very old, and the noise of it was super loud that we decided to shut it off. Also, I encountered a cockroach in the bathroom, and I would have left the following day, but my booking was not refundable. It truly was awful. I would never come back to this place again in my life!!! BE AWARE!!!

Tener q tirar mi propia basura.
Que viva gente de forma permanente y se paseen por las instalaciones como si estuvieran en su salón.
Que tengan una terraza en el exterior para fumar y te obliguen a ir allí pero el personal del hotel fuma en la misma puerta del hotel, que además tienen un cubo lleno de colillas.
El perchero detrás de la puerta del baño está instalado de forma peligrosa, es fácil golpearse la cabeza sin querer.
There’s no hot water
The staff was kind.
Our room and hallway smelled bad. We couldn’t get the heat to work and asked front desk to fix. They said they would send someone up and never did. The shower dripped all night. The guest were loud. No breakfast option. Parking was far away and couldn’t find the lot luckily we found something on the street.
