Pros:

A very comfortable bed with luxurious bed linen and we got a tim tam on arrival (yum). The room was excellent with all the facilities needed. The bathroom was big & the shower - though not brilliant - was fine. We could park outside our cabin & it was private & quiet. There is currently no WiFi - this was communicated to us in advance & we made sure to download maps etc. You can go across the road to the Cafe to connect to WiFi. The instructions we received from Anita were excellent. It was a very comfortable 2 night stay & we'd go again. Highly recommend

Excellent location for explorers
Pros:

Beautiful setting, easy to get to and good location to explore Cradle Mountain National Park.

Cons:

Wifi in BBQ area only but understandable considering the location. Limited food options but we were advised in advance so could order in room meals.

Perfect getaway.

Beautiful setting

Cons:

Some noise from adjoining rooms at times but not a major annoyance.
Perhaps additional kitchen facilities could be considered e.g stovetop & oven due to the isolated location

The forest location and wildlife.

Cons:

The fact that the main building had burned down and the temporary check in was in effect outside.
Hence it was not good value for money.
The bathroom was huge but this meant the rest of the lodge was small.

Good to be able to make coffee but why do places not have a espresso machine? They are so cheap now and make really good coffee. The days of cheap powdered coffee should be over!

Ahhhhh the peace and tranquillity. Enjoying an evening drink around the camp-fire with the Caretaker and other guests all swapping stories, was a lovely way to relax.
