Hotel Metro at KL Sentral

I have stayed in this hotel three times in the last year due to convenience of location, staff and Price. As an older person using a cane and traveling alone, this has been an easy and pleasant experience in every way.

In two of these trips, I have extended my stay and certainly would return on my next trip through KL.

My hotel @ KL Sentral — it was a plasant stay with a good room and friendly staff. It’s a nice hotel located in a central area, making it easy to travel anywhere. There are plenty of transportation options available, such as cabs, MRT, LRT, and buses.

Very close to the KL Senral station in a typical characteristic neighborhood, this truly quality hotel. Spaciousn and very clean room, all comforts and an incredibly kind and helpful staff. I would never have gone away from this place. Highly recommended !!

I was lucky to be directed to the Metro Hotel from their “sister” Hotel (MyHotel) around the corner.

I am a single elderly female, using a cane, and the location of the Metro Hotel was so very convenient for me that I stayed two weeks there.

I always had my questions answered quickly, service was excellent and timely, and assistance was offered often for my “special needs”.

Somewhere in comments, someone said they did not have a small refrigerator in their room, but I did as well as a small safe and the usual cosmetics, TV, air-conditioning, fresh towels, etc. and my room was quiet.

I highly recommend this location and this particular hotel.

I will be returning there on my next trip.

PROS: Food places and shopping mall minutes away.
CONS: No fridge or “do not disturb / make up room cards”.

Stayed Nov-2023 for 3 nights in deluxe room 213 with breakfast.

Lift without porter service. Room has kettle, cups and coffee but no tea or fridge.

Shower head fixed to wall but swivels. Aircon had an annoying blue-light temperature indicator at night which I managed to switch off on 3rd night.

Breakfast coupons for nearby restaurant (currently “Banana Boss and Crew” 2 doors away). Roti, Idly, Poori choice tastes good but the 4-dish buffet (rice, noodles, eggs and vegetarian sausage) plus watermelon, cereal, toast, juice is passable.

Reviews state it is 2-star hotel, possibly due to small room, but better than many 3-star hotels I have stayed in.

Receptionist Chanu is extremely polite and helpful.

Its very quite which i like, but has no restaurant so one has to eat elsewhere.

Strategically located, walking distance to NuSentral and KL Sentral. The room I got was spacious.

Very Good Location, Amenities wise basic though, service wise it is ok, but considering the location it is recommended hotel in this price range. Our Stay was comfortable. 50 meters away from KL Sentral Metro LRT/MRT/Bus Station, Adjacent to KL mono rail & NU sentral mall... Lot of good quality restaurents are around.

Maybe I'm lucky I got a large clean room with a large clean bed, large table. and a nice view from the window :)
And the best thing is this is located in Brickfields close to NuSentral mall and KL Sentral and it is actually possible to walk frok KL Sentral to the hotel (did that) :)

Metro Hotel KL Sentral room is standard but the room is quiet dark, around the hotel was not really clean. Maybe for this rate hotel is good enough. The tv is good and have various of channel. The air conditioner was good too. The toilet was very good but the don't provide toileteries too..

Less than 10 TV channels. Thin walls. They put me in a cheaper room than the one I paid for. Don't pay for breakfast if you are only 1 person. Front desk staff mostly unfriendly. Overall Ok, but I would not stay there again, as I did not enjoy my stay and thought it was poor value.

When we came after sight seeing hotel reception guy was drunk and he given us tough time and forced us to vacate hotel at midnight you can get much better hotel at same price in other location don’t put your family to trouble

Conveniently located within walking distance of KL Sentral so you can quickly reach your hotel from the airport. Within walking distance you can walk towards Merdeka Square and the Petronas Towers. The room was spacious, but somewhat dated. However for the price you can not complain and I was also allowed into my room earlier for a small extra fee, which is very nice after a long flight.

Walk able distance from KL Sentral. No issue with early hours check in. The location is safe & Clean rooms worth for money. For early check in they charged 140 myr its over price. Ibis hotel allow us early check in with out additional charge. So consider this Hotel if doing early check in.

Standard rooms are... Pretty average. Superior or Deluxe are the minimum of what I'd be happy to stay in for more than a night.

the pros is still walkable to the central station, breakfast buffet has to walk 100m to a restaurant but only offer set menu with little choice, shower is not adjustable and can wet the whole toilet floor which maybe slippery

The floor was a bit sticky when we entered the room.
The description indicated a room with city-view, but our room was facing the back structure of another building.
We have booked 2 rooms with a queen bed as per described. However the hotel did not provide a room with queen bed for 1 of the rooms. If there is no room available, it should be stated at the point of booking, not at check in! Hope the hotel can hold on to what has been promised at the time of booking.

Close to train station and shopping mall. Indian and Chinese food nearby.
