Ramada Suites by Wyndham Kuala Lumpur City Centre

The hotel was in a great position, staff were friendly and helpful, however the places needs an update. Unlike other hotels I stayed at in Malaysia, this hotel room did not have a water filter, buffet breakfeast was limited in options for westerner and some faculties needed maintenance, such as the gym and pool.

We checked in late in the night. Next morning tried to address the concerns with management in writing and didn't really get a response until 2 days later. Spoke to reception and they offered a different room but that was no better so we decided not to go through the hassle of moving rooms.
1. There's only one bathroom between 4 people.
2. The bathroom was really unhygienic. There was seepage in the ceiling and mould in the shower tiles grouting. The toilet roll was so far back on the left side it was difficult to reach while on the pot and this is probably why the holder was broken so the roll kept falling off.
3. The first night we arrived the bed linen smelt used, it was disgusting. The pillowcases were yellowing. It was better after room service but their pillow cases are definitely really old/used and are not the same shade as the sheets so keep looking yellow which is unpleasant.
4. The rug in both rooms especially the one we stayed in was disgusting. It had different coloured stains and dirt all over it. Even after multiple days of room service it didn't look like it even had been vacuumed. I used a sheet to cover it so we could sit in that area.
5. We went down to check the pool and it was closed, the furniture was really dirty and old. The pool was really small and definitely not as shown in the photos. Please see my pics.
6. After the written complaint was acknowledged they tried to clean the seepage and it smelt so bad!
The beds were comfy and location was good.

NOT A FAMILY FRIENDLY HOTEL!!! especially if you have children. There are streetwalkers (to say it politely) walking in and out the hotel at all times.

Lack of cleanliness. During daily room service only the bed was made. Other than that, bathroom was untouched, toilet paper was not provided, and the raggedy old towels were not changed.

As far as safety. There was construction going on and portable trolley systems were used on the exterior of the hotel, and even though the hotel advised to lock the valcony door, it did not make a difference as doors could be opened also from the exterior.

Unfortunately, we were unable to use the pool as they had scaffold comming out from the middle of the pool. The most concerning about this was they let peole use the side of the pool next to the scaffold, which is super unsafe. A bad wind or an accident could easily hurt someone swimming next to it. Literally, you could swim to it and touch it and Something could have easylly felt from up above and hurt someone. Very concerning if you have kids.

Lastly, I made my reservation directly with the hotel at first. However, I received an e-mail from the hotel asking to provide my credit card # within 24 hours or my reservation would be canceled. I replied, I was not going to share my credit card # and instead made my reservation through Expedia.

I travel quite often and I have never given a 1 star review to a hotel. It is unfortunately, because Kuala Lumpur is a magnificent city to tour.

The front desk staff are very helpful, the breakfast buffet is great so many choices, our room is clean and the bed is comfy. Hot water and Aircon are both working great.

Convenient location and very walkable to local food and bars

This hotel is okay. The staff were a little unwelcoming when we checked in, not something we've found elsewhere in Malaysia! The was a lot of noise at night too.
On the plus side, the restaurant is fantastic for both breakfast and dinner and the location is very good.

Plenty of options at the hotel restaurant and several restaurants to dine in nearby.
We stayed in a suite with a king size bed and 2 single beds in the second room. All were very comfortable.

It is the one of the worst places to stay in KLCC. Staff is not friendly and the hotel rooms are bad and not well maintained. They do not have support staff for shifting the luggage and all of the stuff inside the hotel room is broken. I would never recommend this hotel ever again to anyone.

This hotel is one of the older hotels this area. Conveniently locate in the heart of the City Center.

Finished our 3 week trip to Malaysia with a 2 night stay here as it is right in the middle of the busy area for night life. Lots of bars shops and restaurants right outside. The hotel is having some internal and external painting done at the moment but this didn't affect our stay whatsoever.a

Stayed at Ramada with family for 4 days. Nice Hotel with a walkable distance from eateries and pubs around the area.

Good Pool and Gym facility.

Only felt the breakfast Menu was a little limited and could be improved.

A. Good property in the heart of KLCC . Our room was spacious and large with two double beds . Fantastic for anfamily of 4. The room on 13th floor had a beautiful view if the KL skyline including the new 118 floor building. Bukit Bintang MRT is only 500 m away. There are many restaurant s in the area including Indian ones just across the street. The infinite pol on 9th floor is also awesome .

Great location. Clean hotel

Location is noisy with alot of pubs downstairs. Key card works intermittently. Gym equipment is old but usable.

Breakfast spread is terrible. Only ate there 1 day and forgo another 2 days of my breakfast cos i wanted decent food given limited stomach capacity.

For the price paid, will not go again unless there are good deals.

Clean room,spacious for family of 4 to 5 and close to nearby restaurant.

We have visited this hotel in month of june 25 alongwith family. Worth against money spent for this hotel. Good staff and supportive to us. Even food also Good. We fully recommend for the stay and also many attraction are near by this hotel.like as KL tower and shopping market

Excellent staff, specially at the reception, good room service very clean, very well behaved, polite way of communication, I would rate 10 out of 10.

I have been to many places , but this hotel Ramada suites was an Amazing, amazing experience.

Terrible

This is my third stay within twelve months. The reason I keep returning as well as the convenient location to restaurants, bars, transportation are the lovely staff. Ayunani, Lawrence and all the front desk staff too many to mention always greet me Mr. David makes you feel really welcome. A lovely bowl of fruit with a welcome back Mr. David was waiting in my room.
Rooms are spacious and quiet at rear of hotel. Unfortunately the shower cubicle is very small, the towels were really substandard this time.
