A perfect option for a ski vacation in Zermatt!

Location is very convenient. 3 min walk from train station and lots of shops/restaurants nearby.

The staff at the hotel simi (where you have to check-in) were nice.

Cons:

The reception is in another hotel and so not really any staff around except during breakfast.

Breakfast is sad (i.e. canned fruit salad)You enter and the radio is blarimg at 7am (which can be heard 2 floors up). Noting they do have a nice selection of different fresh breads every morning and you can boil your own egg (when the there are not other eggs forgotten and yucking up the water.

It is not cleaned well at all and the drapes/carpets are super old and likely unhealthy. They never vacuumed our room or the landing near the stairs above, they never changed or cleaned the glasses in the bathroom, etc but they did replace the towels each day.

The hotel is loud. You can hear the staff early morning,vehicles and people outside until late night (which is not necessarily unexpected for such a central location.) and guests can easily be heard through the walls (our room shared a wall w the stairwell.)

Parfait pour faire escale, simple et efficace, situé en plein centre

Emplacement impeccable au centre de Zermatt, la chambre était petite mais fonctionnelle et propre, le déjeuner était complet et bon.

Pros:

Расположение в центре, близко к вокзалу, к центральной улице, к магазинам. Правда находится чуть в закутке, но вполне легко находится.
Гостевой дом. Регистрация в соседнем отеле, находится рядом, там все объясняют - поясняют.
Староватые коридоры, вообще все не новое, темновато, ключ на ощупь вставляла.
Номер маленького размера, но для 1 ночи как была я, вполне. Ночевала после поездки на Ледниковом экспрессе. Наверное если ехать кататься на лыжах подольше, то тесновато.
Ванная приличная, чистая,
Есть холодильник, чайник, что очень приятно.
Завтрак на первом этаже, колбаса, сыр, фрукты, джемы, мысли, кофе, чай. сок. На горячее только яйца, которое можешь сам сварить как тебе надо.
Ночью шумновато, apre-ski в разгаре)) Бегают, шумят.

Cons:

Темно в коридоре.
Нет горячего на завтрак (омлет, яичница).
Высокая цена, но такие цены в Церматте в принципе.
