It was a pleasure staying at Staybridge suites in Albany 👍😊❤️👏
Pros:

For the moment I checked in and greeted with a smile - happy hour outstanding - pool facilities were clean and great - room was outstanding

10-year-old Hotel -- looks and smells Brand New!
Pros:

We stayed at this hotel for two nights as are "launching pad" to attend the Belmont stakes ( run at Saratoga in 2026)

PROs: super clean, quiet room with plain but functional furnishings; good to very good breakfast ( but coffee maker at breakfast area is ridiculously slow); very nice outdoor courtyard, very nice indoor pool, walking distance to Chilis, Texas road house, cheddars and several others

CONs: there really aren't many, perhaps none...it WAS initially hard to find, (it's located in the parking lot behind a 1970's style mall, Macy's would be a good GPS reference to find it); and we encountered a series of loud, profane and exceptionally rude "locals" at the nearby restaurants, many of whom need a wardrobe upgrade and a bath or shower. wouldn't hurt, either. But that is not the hotel's fault, just wanted to warn future travelers....you and your kids will hear numerous permutations of the "f bomb" from the people at the neighboring tables....welcome to Albany, NY

Would come again Albany a lovely city.
Pros:

Breakfast top notch. Fresh fruit and healthy breakfast available.
Rooms spacious and staff so helpful and pleasant.

Cons:

Quite expensive but here for World Cup and everything is more expensive.

Overall, a great hotel, the breakfast was quite impressive! Needs improvement on shared areas!
Pros:

I can't rate the swimming pool/spa or the outdoor grill area and fire pit as it was clogged with kids all day/night. Very unfortunate for us that a sports team was staying there and prevented us from being able to use the amenities. Our own children missed out and were disappointed. You also need a better program for the basketballs. Maybe people have to leave $20 or some type of fee will be added if they don't return the basketball within 2 hours. I don't know exactly, but again, all the basketballs were taken and not returned so my child couldn't even use the basketball court. The hotel itself was really great and the breakfast was better than any we've encountered. We were highly impressed with the hotel and breakfast and would stay again based on just those. Very disappointing there isn't a way to control the basketballs better and/or some way of rotating people in and out of common areas so all can enjoy.

Wonderful hotel and close to everything!
Pros:

The staff was wonderful and the hotel was spotless. Coffee, tea and pantry was always stocked, and the front desk was so warm and inviting to us every time we passed them. Complimentary laundry was a huge bonus especially with kids. We would definitely stay here again without thinking twice.

I love how I was able to get an amazing price for the amount of people that I had with me, which was five adults
