Nice people, nice place to stay
Pros:

The room was ocean view as booked. It was very roomy and clean. It was nice to use the balcony. We preferred not to be disturbed and housekeeping honored our request. Every interaction with staff was pleasant and you could tell people wanted to be helpful.

Cons:

Not their fault but flies get in from the balcony, just be prepared or bring a fly swatter, not a deal breaker at all, the place is worth staying. Another thing that can't be helped is other guests and perhaps they don't realize, but every time someone moved their balcony chair it seemed to echo into the room, not a problem if it is not 5am. Then there are the guests that are door slammers, they let the doors slam. I had a foot issue so the hill to the beach was a challenge but if I did not have the foot problem it would not have been an issue.

Restful and effortless.
Pros:

Staff was friendly and competent. The room was freshly redecorated and very nice. Great view. The advertising told the truth!

Bad feeling 4 hours from home with a already paid for room and no one to check you in
Pros:

Cons:

Absolutely would not recommend the office was “closed” early and left phone number to call for check in on door called number several times with no answer it was almost midnight we had to go find another hotel room because no one would answer I already had paid and made reservations called the office next morning lady said manager would be returning my call to get a refund I have yet to hear back from them it’s been a week!

It was relaxing for the most part.
Pros:

The room was very nice, but we could hear doors slamming at all hours. The breakfast was great. I am very familiar
with the Outer Banks as I have lived just an hour away my whole life. My husband and I were there to celebrate our 45th
wedding anniversary. A little disappointed that our path to the beach was so long.

Cons:

Noisy and the long trek to the beach.

Had a lovely time but hotel honestly could’ve been nicer, needs updating.
Pros:

Great location . Bed was comfortable, pillows were great!

Cons:

Bathroom was way too small, and so was the counter space. Could barely close bathroom door without it banging into you.

It was clean and the location was great.

Cons:

The room was really small for how expensive our stay was. The staff at the front desk was fine just not very inviting and never asked about our stay.
