Great Stay in a Perfect Location!
Pros:

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was perfect, within walking distance of everything, and having easy access to the beach was a huge plus. The rooms were nice, comfortable, and welcoming.

Cons:

The facility is a bit older, and it shows on the walls, which could use some updating. Unfortunately, the trash had also not been taken out before our arrival, which was disappointing.

Pros:

I loved that the hotel is right there at the beach. Especially when you have children with you. Close to everything you need. Breakfast in the mornings is a plus.

Cons:

Honestly I didn’t think there wasn’t anything to not like about it.

Quality of the hotel made up for less-than-perfect weather
Pros:

Had quite a bit of rain during our stay. Not a big problem, when your room is only a minute from the beach. Easy to run inside when it pours, then back to the beach when it stops. Also had the option for either indoor pool (and hot tub) or outdoor pool - all open, all clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was good. Staff were all very friendly. Good strong shower. Clean, comfortable room. A very nice stay.

Charming Seaside Retreat!
Pros:

I absolutely loved that I was mere steps away from the motel's private beach! My room was very comfortable and had all the amenities I expected. I especially liked that I could borrow a beach chair and return it (saved me from renting one!)! I would definitely recommend this property!

Cons:

Only a couple of things - the breakfast was only ok (although it was free, and the coffee was very good!). And I know the motel is called "Shutters," but I found the shutters in the room didn't block enough light in the morning! I guess room darkening shades would ruin the aesthetic, though.

We had a wonderful time as always
Pros:

The breakfast is okay, but the room is too small for the amount of people.

We will be back!
Pros:

The breakfast was good with several different options. Loved the 24 hour coffee!
The beds were comfortable. The location right on the beach is excellent. The staff were friendly.

Cons:

The only negative was the steep walkway down the dunes to the beach and back up.
