Smart Hotel Thamrin Jakarta

Disappointment and unprofessional attitude during check-in. On arrival we received a brochure with upgrade of rooms that had to pay any price. After I was not interested in an upgrade, we still got a good spacious room with a view to the city. The shower room was small and shower head was broken. The water was filthy and gave off a bad smell. Even a cockroach came to greet us while showering. The bed was made of cheap wood and not sturdy. The moment you want to have peace and quiet, you get renovation work in the hotel. The photos do not correspond to reality and that makes this hotel not smart but dirty.

Very convenient transportation wise. Trains services, mrt, buses all very easy to get , super cheap shopping for batik and ladies clothings at famous Thamrin City Mall . Also nearby Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia mall ,Sarinah mall. Thank you very much to the lady manager mdm Aryati for her services and directions during our 6 nights stay .The staff were all very polite and couteous and helpful to try their best to accomodate our requests and inquiries especially madam Aryati. Will be an ideal place if not for the lack of availibility of room safety box and no safety latch in room

Nice room and clean, friendly staff and fast reponse however the room rate not suitable with online price, the receptionist will show you the worst room in order to room upgrde with the additional price. Some of rooms on maintenance but the the have best location in city center

Het gordijn belemmert de uitzicht naar buiten. De kamer 2 dagen niet schoongemaakt vooral de toilet. Er zijn ratten in het plavond.

This place located in the heart of Jakarta, just a walking distance to malls and public transportation. The room is small, you may get a room without a window, but its ok just for a rest.
Cleanliness needs improvement

I arrived at the hotel expecting the same hotel as picture. When i arrived i found the hotel on Fully Construction side. I wonder how big company lile Agoda or Traveloka still selling it. The reception was messy , dusty and full of old equipment. You are literally inside of CONSTRUCTION .. i cant understand how on earth they still selling the room ? my booking cant be refunded .. eventhough what they sell is totally a BAD HOTEL CONSTRUCTION SIDE and they wont apologize for this issue . I paid for IDR 450,000 and they only refund me for 10 USD . What a joke .

great proximity to city and food

At first, I thought this would be a nice hotel from the appearance in Agoda & also I thought that it will be great experience since the hotel is located just near the city centre (Grand Indonesia). The price is very affordable as well.
However, after checked in to the room, I felt very disappointed. The room is small, dusty & not clean enough. They don't provide slipper and we have to step on the dusty floor. The most disgusting was when I saw 2 small cockroaches in the room & bathroom. I don't recommend this hotel, unless if you want an affordable hotel with an easy access.

I used to stay here in 2018 if our company was doing a project in Jakarta. Never complaint because it is cheap and strategically located and also near BNI CITY STATION so we can catch airport train.
But unfortunately, the road to go to hotel is a bit confusing, many the traffic engineering makes the way to go to hotel further away.

It’s located at sizzler building and I liked the experience in this hotel bcs it’s just like an old hotel. The room quiet looks like a dusty “kost”. They served breakfast from 7-10am at sizzler restaurant so I thought the food would be great and it turned out that they didn’t serve a good food😂 so I ate some kind of sour soup which I guessed was thick tomato soup that was ok to eat and it has barley in it

Nothing please the room so small nd the bed spreed so dirtt even when they change to new one 8s faded

施設はあまりきれいでないが、スタッフのホスピタリティは高く依頼すればすぐ対応してくれる。スタッフが明るく、癒やされる。

Rooms smelled n water leak, they switched me twice no difference

at this time i'm forget to check .. :( at trip advisor. usually i always check in the trip advisor before book the hotel, .
- The hotel check in progress was fast, you have to deposit 100K (IDR). the reception is nice.
- the room that i was book with no window and with out breakfast.
- Found cokroaches at the toilet. the bed and linen seems old.

you can get better hotel at this area with almost same rate

I spent 20 minutes in the room while booking another hotel nearby.

This hotel has very small rooms and their bathrooms are small as well. Although they kept it clean. But still the fact that it charges you alot for what it offers. Also they did not have any wardrobe for your clothes. And their staff was pretty slow to respond. Also they will only provide you 2 water bottles for a day and that too were very small one. If you want more water then you had to buy it and that too was expensive. This hotel is located in a nice area but they do not serve well and it is overpriced for what they offer. They had wifi in the hotel but strangely it would not work in the rooms and would only be useful in the lobby. Also they do not understand English language and that becomes tough to communicate with them.

But be careful, they have several branch, our booking at first they want to transfer to other branch because they said the room are full, yes, they let go the syetem to sell the room becasue they have branches
