Very conveniently located near the center to buy tickets for Williamsburg, and also close to pick up for the shuttle to take you into Williamsburg. There was plenty of parking. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Nothing at all.
Very upscale
Nothing
Close to shuttle for Historic Williamsburg. Friendly staff.
It was good!
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful. Additionally the location was excellent, right next to Colonial Williamsburg. We enjoyed the park like atmosphere with many surrounding trees.
The resort looked like a partial ghost town- several empty and unused buildings. It was odd because in order to park you had to drive around all of these areas. Parking felt limited which was unnecessary due to all of the unused space. The facilities- although very clean- needed to be updated. Why not update the main building and tear down what you aren't using to create a more logical entrance/parking area? You could also turn those unused spaces into outdoor parks, playgrounds, etc. which would match the woodlands theme. Lastly the breakfast was lacking in terms of options and appeal. We went to a beach hotel following our Williamsburg stay. We paid less money and had a full breakfast every morning.
Breakfast was fine. We enjoyed the complimentary mini-golf, that was a treat. The pool looked very nice, but we had not brought our swimsuits.
The room was fine, but could do with a refresh. There were a couple rips in the wallpaper for example. We assume something was going on with the A/C as the hallways had industrial venting just hanging in the hallway. I've never actually seen that in a hotel of any level before.
the splash pad was awesome, the breakfast
I got a text that sounded like we had to pay to use the pool.
The room was clean, beds were comfortable and the staff was so friendly.
The wifi was horrible
I was dissatisfied with the breakfast. No sausage on Saturday and no eggs or sausage available on Sunday. Lots and lots of kids during this stay
The location and the heated food
The continental breakfast, I feel like they could have at least added a piece of meat like bacon or something
Proximity to Colonial Williamsburg.
Lack of appropriate lighting in the parking lot!! Signage on the property.
Location was good.
Parking was poor, parking lot lighting was poor, signage was poor, staff was less than helpful or pleasant at times. A.C. problems in the hotel. Very old and outdated. Needs a makeover. Huge potholes in the parking lot. At night it was very dark and it felt unsafe.
