I had a lovely overnight stay in a clean and friendly hotel environment.
Pros:

Very conveniently located near the center to buy tickets for Williamsburg, and also close to pick up for the shuttle to take you into Williamsburg. There was plenty of parking. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Nothing at all.

Hotel excellent, personnel très attentive et investit. Grande chambre très propre. Jolie propriété avec la meilleure piscine de notre séjour aux US. À côté du Williamsburg visitor center avec des rabais pour la visite de la ville.

The hotel was clean and very convenient, but the facilities and breakfast need some enhancements.
Pros:

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful. Additionally the location was excellent, right next to Colonial Williamsburg. We enjoyed the park like atmosphere with many surrounding trees.

Cons:

The resort looked like a partial ghost town- several empty and unused buildings. It was odd because in order to park you had to drive around all of these areas. Parking felt limited which was unnecessary due to all of the unused space. The facilities- although very clean- needed to be updated. Why not update the main building and tear down what you aren't using to create a more logical entrance/parking area? You could also turn those unused spaces into outdoor parks, playgrounds, etc. which would match the woodlands theme. Lastly the breakfast was lacking in terms of options and appeal. We went to a beach hotel following our Williamsburg stay. We paid less money and had a full breakfast every morning.
