Service of staff at check in / check out, at the breakfast, and at the outside bar watching the World Cup. Location works for my work meetings, and the surrounding areas work well for walking

The rooms smell like sewage I had to asked for a room change in the middle of the night because of this, Is unhealthy and dangerous for the health. I didn´t recommend the hotel at any case. The supervisor is the worst

Shower took a little long do warm water. There was water running out after shower
The Hilton is not a hotel that "stands out" in the traditional sense. It is a Hilton and it was really good. However what made my stay excellent was the staff that went above and beyond.
1) My international flight arrived around 09:00 AM and I arrived at the hotel around 10:30 AM. Check in time was 15:00 but the room was available and they offered me to check in. Perfect and so much appreciated! Initially I booked another hotel and at first they bluntly rejected my request for an early check in (which I understand is based upon availability) before informing me it was based upon availability and reception would tell me how much extra I had to pay. Really? Quite ridiculous if you ask me. The Hilton was amazing offering this as part of their fantastic guest services. I value and remember this.
2) The heater in my room wasn't working properly. I called and instantly a repair man knocked on my door. Things looked solved, but then it wasn't. The repair man came again, the heater warmed the room and then failed again. I felt embarrassed calling again, but instead they offered me a different (bigger) room. Again fantastic customer service.
3) The breakfast was pure joy. Strong tasty espresso's included, a fresh orange juice machine, poached eggs to order, peeled citrus fruits and fresh strawberries etc etc. I enjoyed it so much!
4) I tried activating a local Entel SIM card, but somehow failed. The staff at reception were super helpful and even called Entel customer services for me to get things solved. This took quite some time, but at reception they went above and beyond. Especially Sofia spent quite some time on the phone with Entel trying to get my issue solved, thank you.
So summarizing; the amazing staff made my stay incredibly enjoyable and for me that makes or breaks a hotel stay. Like I said the room was fine (which is of course important), but the staff made my stay perfect.
It takes quite a while before the water gets warm, but that's it... Not a huge issue and it wouldn't stop me from booking again! That's all!
