Welsh wonderland
Pros:

The four poster bedroom and the superior bedroom we had were fantastic. Very roomy, comfortable and warm.. The refurbished bathrooms were excellent. The room was beyond our expectations.
The grounds where a bonus, lovely to walk around.
The house itself was an interesting building with lots of places to explore

Cons:

We had to leave 😪

Pros:

Location is beautiful and couldn't fault the breakfast. Excellent Italian restaurant for evening meals too. It was great to unwind in the spa.

Cons:

The hotel is a little outdated furnishings wise, I'm not talking the Manor areas, they were on point. More the bedrooms were tired looking now and not as clean as they could be.

Pros:

The spa facilities are lovely and not very crowded.
Large, comfortable room.
Nice selection of local spirits at the bar.
Abundant and good quality breakfast.

Cons:

The restaurant is overpriced. The hotel is somewhat isolated, so a car is needed to get to other eateries.
