good rooms, affordable for short stay, just be prepared for traffic noise.
Pros:

overall was quite clean for an ibis budget, staff were prompt at check in, all amenities were close by and was very easy to get to places conveniently.

Cons:

traffic noise was CONSTANT all night. i understand that it’s an old building and right next to the freeway, so if you’re a light sleeper i recommend bringing some earplugs. water pressure in the shower could be a little better, as well.

Gross, not worth it
Pros:

That when I walked into my first room and found it a mess (bed unmade, towels on floor), the receptionist offered me a new room. Unfortunately that room was worse than the first, with what looked like poop on the bed, dirty dishes left and rubbish strewn throughout the room. Opted not to stay and was refused a refund.

Cons:

The poop stains on the unmade beds was too much

Felt refreshed in the morning, ready for a long trip to Newcastle
Pros:

Close to work. Perfect for a stay in a proper bed overnight, and not have to drive to a servo for a shower. (Interstate driver)

Lazy staff
Pros:

Nothing much

Cons:

There was only 2 pillows for the 2 of us so I went to ask for more pillows' the man said there was no spares, so I lied to him saying that I rang earlier asking for 2 pillows each as I have neck problems. So he ended up getting me pillows' he was just being lazy playing with his phone.
