Said there was airport shuttle - there wasn’t.
Went to take shower and water was completely yellow, looked like pee.
Receptionist offered to help with getting me a taxi but then confidently told me the wrong terminal and acted so sure about it that I believed him. I had to pay a lot for a second taxi since I was already at the airport when i realized he directed me to the wrong place.
The hotel leela had a great staff .I went there for staying and to enjoy.I had delicious breakfast with varieties of choice.Receponist sneha kewat made my entrance smooth and make me feeled welcomed and comfortable.Thank uh everyone most liked hotel in dubaii.
We chose this hotel, expecting a comfortable 4-star experience, but unfortunately, our stay fell short of expectations. Our room on the 2nd floor was directly above the hotel’s 1st-floor club, and we were disturbed by loud music late into the night. While the music was not disturbing in the evening, it escalated around 2 a.m. approximately waking us up and disrupting our sleep.
The main reason for choosing this hotel was its proximity to my partner’s workplace, as he needed to be well-rested for an early work meeting. However, the noise made this impossible. When I contacted the reception at 2:30 am approximately, I was told the club would close soon and that the volume would be lowered, but no noticeable change occurred. The music continued for about an hour after my call, which was incredibly frustrating.
It’s disappointing that the staff didn’t inform us about the potential for noise when assigning our room, especially if this is a known issue. A simple heads-up or an offer of a quieter room would have allowed us to make alternative arrangements.
While the hotel’s location was convenient, this experience significantly impacted our stay. I hope the management addresses this to ensure future guests have a more restful experience.
I arrived at night, the registration procedures were quick, they gave me some drinks when they finished recording the link, I went to know, it was very beautiful, thank you for welcoming from the housekeeping department, I had breakfast in the morning in my room, and it was very delicious, thank you for providing good service.
Leela Hotel, Deira, Dubai runs a club with rave parties till 4am. It is impossible to sleep. Stay there only if you want to listen to terrible and loud music all night. Techno, loud Music by probably a maniacal DJ, and drunken cheering can be heard blaring for two nights. I was unable to sleep.
I am staying at the Leela, this is my first day, unfortunately, right now the only good thing, it's close to the city centre.
Breakfast bad experience. Not much choices.
Asked for an omelette, was given a badly beaten egg that a 5 year old could have done better. Did not bother to ask my preference, had them redo it came, no improvement. I wonder where their chef got his training!!
I had a very disappointing experience at The Leela Hotel and regret my choice to stay here.
Outdated and Uncomfortable Rooms: The room I stayed in was in desperate need of renovation. The furniture was old and uncomfortable, giving the room a very dated feel.
I checked out the next morning, on October 4, 2024, after just one night. The hotel did not meet any of my expectations, and it was clear that maintenance and cleanliness were major issues.
Basically you get what you pay for. My room was upgraded to Deluxe and it was comfortable and no street noise to i slept well. The room needs major uograde and TV doesnt work despite me phoning down twice to ask for help fixing it...nobody showed up!!
Despite to the reviews I read, I hesitantly decided to take a chance and stay here. Surised to find a lovely lobby and delightful checkin. My entire 5 night stay was extremely comfortable. The staff amazing and professional. True, the hotel needs some refurbishment but that's mostly surface issues rather than deep problems. They have already started the improvements. In my room, I did not hear a peep from any of the lounges or clubs. Yes, I would certainly stay at the Leela Hotel again.

Good 4 star hotel
New and old staff mix I think
Seems recently renovated. Next to deira city centre. Also bar serves alcohol . I don’t think any other hotel in this lane serves alcohol.
Also the place has new Owners I got to know
Attaching some pictures of the room.
nothing at all
The hotel's recent change in ownership has resulted in a noticeable decline in the quality of service and overall experience. Despite having stayed there multiple times in the past, the recent stay revealed several issues and problems that were not present before.
However, there were two positive aspects to the stay. The location of the hotel is highly convenient, with easy access to the metro, the old town, and the bustling town center. Additionally, the proximity to the City Center Deira mall is a notable advantage, especially for those interested in shopping.
On the other hand, the low price point of the hotel may not justify the compromises in quality. The only staff member who provided exceptional service was the bell person or concierge named Goin, who demonstrated remarkable courtesy and professionalism. It is hoped that he will have a successful future, potentially outside of this particular hotel.
The disappointments encountered during the stay included worn-out room floors and walls, a non-functional safe box, and the absence of an iron and ironing board. Furthermore, the provision of soap, toilet paper, and towels was severely limited, even upon request. Several lights in the room and bathroom were not functioning, and there was water leakage from the shower into the bathroom without any floor mat or towel provided.
In conclusion, while the hotel's location and low price may appeal to some, the numerous issues and problems experienced during the stay significantly detract from the overall value and comfort of the establishment.
Persistent unpleasant odor in the bathroom due to the absence of a ventilation system.
Accumulation of thick dust and dirt on window surfaces.
Inadequate refrigeration facilities due to missing shelves in the refrigerator.
Neglect and disuse of the surrounding swimming pool, resulting in its conversion into a storage area.
Inoperable and empty small round pool or jacuzzi.
Deteriorated condition of balcony restaurants above the lobby, resembling a war-torn state.
Excessive noise from the nightclub, audible even on the ninth floor.
Closure of the cafeteria located in the lobby.
Inadequate and poorly maintained aquarium.
Overpowering smell of cigarettes upon entering the lobby, causing discomfort.
Unacceptable presence of a cockroach in the bathroom, posing health and safety concerns.

Staff were very helpful
Please do not stay at this hotel it’s very old and rusty the carpet was dirty everything about this hotel was horrible don’t stay here…the pics online is a lie
The rooms are very dirty, smell was horrible in the rooms
Toilets and beedsheets were very dirty and I couldn't sleep in room at night due to loud disco
Restaurant food was very pathetic
I am giving one star just for the reason that there was a huge mall behind otherwise my overall experience in hotel was so bad that I couldn't believe.
The location is really good . There are several bars besides and 5 minutes walking you can reach Deirah center, which was a good mall .
But the hotel itself was not very special. It's a hotel with Indian owners and the name Leela is also indian . You can see most of the guests are from India .
Breakfast was normal . Nothing new or special. Very simple!
The room carpets were totally black because of dirt and dust .
The rooms are very dirty and need a lot of maintenance. Doors do not close smoothly. You have to use all your might to close it. The hotel is very noisy in the night and it is very difficult to sleep rather next to impossible due to loud music in the hotel premises.
