Fortune Grand Hotel

The check-in was nice and smooth till the lady receptionist came and wanted me to wait unnecessarily, very rude and unprofessional attitude, the other manager had to argue with her to get me complete check-in!!!
Nice clean place, plenty of restaurants near by at walking distance, house keeping is helpful though got an iron which had the dial missing!!
The negative side are
1) the clubs that operate 7 days a week and are loud even if you get room on top floor
2) the rooms are not quite as the windows not double glazed, your could literally hear horns from taxis and every car on road
3) My room was not exactly private as the windows facing the lift did not have proper curtains so light was always an issue

I wanted to stay one night this hotel because it was near an event I attended while in Dubai and once I was in the lobby I was unable to even hear the hotel employee because of the loud music coming from across the registration desk. I found out that the hotel has a party lounge across from the registration desk and the music was loud. I was unable to get a refund because I booked the room via Expedia and this occurred before I knew about the noise and crowds. I am never using Expedia again. I have nothing negative to say about the lounge party because it was a party however if a guest is aware of your establishment practices that you do not advertise then the establishment and in this case it is Fortune Grand Hotel and it’s agent Expedia.

The customer service was great. Front desk personnel & bellboy were helpful & pleasant. The room was clean, comfortable and had good complementary items. There was only 1 towel (the booking was in advance, for my husband & I) so we asked for another one. The area around the hotel is good. A lot of shops, restaurants and other places you might need, within walking distance.

There were not toilet paper,not even towels, the atention at the lobby it’s terrible and the hotel smells horrible

The facilities and room is awesome, my wife really liked the jacuzzi

The rome is so small and there is no air-condition

Parking was tight and dirty

I like the closeness to downtown city and the clubs in it.

I like the hotel. The food was excellent. The staff were friendly and I wish they can open up more but I understand.
Overall rating is excellent. I will visit again in October. Emirate Flight was the best. Book me again in the future.

The hotel entrance was quite childish filled with balloons & standard room was quit congested but the agent upgraded my room so I was happy with the room

We called housekeeping for several times but they didn’t show up ! Which was very unattractive!

Plus the bar music gave me severe headache!

Nice location but breakfast was not satisfaction as value
