Hotel is old and outdated. Facilities & rooms need updating.
Pros:

Location was average. Area a little run down. Plenty of parking, close to entrance door. Room was nice, 2 single beds, bar fridge, wardrobe & desk & chair.

Cons:

It was humid weather and the room was very hot, even though the ceiling fan was on. Took air con a while to cool the room down.

Difficult to walk up the old stairs with bags in hand.

Our room only had 1 power point working, eventhough there were 4 in the room, 1 being the fridge connection. This was apparently due to a power issue following rain, and all power points working that evening.

Major plumbing issues. That evening when using the Ladies bathroom 1, there were used towels all over the floor due to flooding. Using the cracked and very dated basin to wash my hands (only way to wash hands in this area), I had to careful navigate my way through the bathroom as to avoid slipping. At night, went to use toilet in Ladies bathroom 2 and both toilet & basin were blocked!

Next morning when I went to shower in bathroom 1, no flooding however, as I was showering, I noticed the water was coming out of the drain next to the bathtub, causing severe flooding out of the drain and into one of the toilets. This time I had to wade through water slowly to get back to my room.

Both occasions I reported to housekeeping staff.

Mattresses stained & super soft.

I know this was low budget accommodation, but we didn't expect this!!!!

Exactly what we needed for a 1 night stay- clean those bathrooms and it would have been all positive
Pros:

The rooms themselves were great! Clean and tidy and everything was well set up etc

Cons:

The bathrooms however could really use some cleaning. I’m talking the walls and floors and sink all were covered in dust and quite dirty

Location is really good for when you’re travelling for concerts

Cons:

There are not many dining options in the area, only the pub. It says it’s a hotel but it’s more of a hostel vibe with the shared bathrooms. The aircon didn’t work in one of the rooms.

Pros:

The price was right, location was perfect for the event nearby at Qudos.
Pub was quiet, cold beer on tap.
room and facilities were clean, shared batthrooms (separate mens and womens)
Mini bar in room

Cons:

Rooms need some tissues.
Rooms are a little on the small side, but this is expected at a pub.

Pros:
