Wonderful place to stay. The Taarab Restaurant is delicious but the service is outstanding. Such nice and delightful people. Kalista is amazing.

The team was incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout my stay. The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. Breakfast offered a great variety of fresh and delicious options, and the restaurant served excellent food with outstanding service.

The location is perfect for exploring the historic streets of Stone Town, with many attractions just a short walk away.

We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay at this superb hotel with a great location in Stone Town. We had a warm welcome , and our room was clean and very spacious, beds comfortable and Margaret our housekeeper made sure we had all we needed for a relaxing stay. All staff were very welcoming, professional and always eager to help especially Wahiri Ally, Fadihili , Mohammed.
The food on the 5th floor restaurant was exceptional - our big thanks to Chef Daniel who looked after our breakfast and every evening meals which was prepared for us just as we requested : delicious and fresh. Big thanks also to Kalista, Francis, Said who were very professional, friendly and for the hospitality provided. Based on our experience , we would highly recommend staying at this superb Hotel and we are certainly coming back to stay here next year !!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was beautifully decorated with solid wooden furniture, giving it a warm, traditional, and cozy atmosphere. We chose the Superior Room, and while I’m not sure exactly how it differs from the standard room (perhaps it’s a bit larger), we were very happy with it. The bed was very comfortable, and we had excellent sleep every night.

The only downside was that the hotel is quite expensive, especially considering that breakfast was not included in the price.

The restaurant on the fifth floor is very good and offers a nice setting. The hotel’s location is excellent – it’s very central, and all the main sights in Stone Town are within easy walking distance.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay there again.

Absolutely outstanding! This was one of the best hotel stays I've ever had,the room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable,everyone one was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile.
The location was perfect, making it easy to explore stone area and the souvenir shops, not to forget indoor pool exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was delicious however need more variety of options.

Although I didn't stay overnight, I had the pleasure of dining at Turaco Spice Tree during my visit to Stone Town,the hotel is beautifully maintained, with elegant architecture and a welcoming atmosphere,The staff were professional and genuinely friendly, and the service was excellent. The sunset view from the restaurant are stunning, and the food was exceptional. Based on my experience, I would certainly consider staying here on my next trip to Zanzibar.

To truly describe an experience, sometimes it's not enough to simply recount the interaction between service and customer. Occasionally, small events occur that change everything. My experience at the hotel was very pleasant. A terrace overlooking the horizon, excellent service from the hotel staff, and a strategic location near the Stone Town waterfront. But what prompts me to write today began with a minor mishap: I left my camera lens in the room. In this regard, the hotel team, and especially Waziri Ally (Front Office Supervisor), were incredibly helpful in arranging its return. They organized the return process and even used their own time to send back this lost and found item. Their generosity and care made me realize that a hotel can be so much more than just a hotel. Thank you.
