Had a very good stay at Cass Tropical. Excellent staff and good conditions, quiet and safe. Totally recommend.

Quiet suburban B&B with super friendly and helpful manager. Short Uber from the airport.
Also an Uber away from the amazing Toucan Rescue Centre to see all the animals we didn’t spot in the wild

Overall great value, comfortable secure property, kind helpful staff and a full hot delicious breakfast makes for a happy traveler!

Casa Tropical is a great hotel bed and breakfast. We stayed here for two nights at the end of our trip. The location is beautiful with the fresh air of Heredia. It was close to drive into San Jose and even closer to the airport for our departure. The staff is friendly and professional, property is beautiful, clean and safe, and the breakfast was delicious! Could not recommend more.

This is an amazing place to stay! The staff is wonderful, the food is delicious, the rooms are very clean, and it is in a very good location with low noise. Great place for a great price!!

The manager Andrea was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and cute. Noisy birds and a rooster woke us up several times. Parking is tight. Only two real spots to park smaller vehicles. Breakfast was terrible. Cold, rubbery pancakes and a slice of watermelon. Also coffee and orange juice. Lady at breakfast wasn’t very friendly either. About 15 minutes away from airport and was fine for one night.

I like the fact that it is situated in a beautiful quiet residential area. You can walk around in the neighborhood and there are several small restaurants and shops nearby (bakery, supermarket, ...). Staff is super, super friendly and helpful!. At the same time it is nicely furnished and nottoofar from the airport and downtown San Jose. No problem to reach everything by taxi, Uber, minibus.

The host was super nice, the place was clean and neat, super cute, it was quiet and very close to a supermarket. The linens and bed were an absolute delight to rest and the rooms are spacious. I very much enjoyed my stay here and would recommend no doubt. Actually booking again twin nights as I have to come to the area again

Super staff! Friendly and flexible to accommodate our early departure for a flight. Everything was in good condition and first rate in cleanliness.

You have a view of 3 different volcanoes and a beautiful view stop to view the scenery and the amazingly fasts approach of the airplanes as they go toward the airport. It’s beautiful to watch. The service and staff are welcoming and the friendliness that Ticos are known around the world for. Will definitely visit again. ¡Pura vida!

We stayed for two nights. Lovely courtyard and upper balcony view in nice neighborhood. Our hosts were terrific! Breakfast was very good. The room was pretty basic and needed more furniture- nothing to put luggage on, only one nightstand, bed not very comfy.

Great place to stay, great people working there, great view of mountains.

Great location near the airport but tucked away so it is quiet. My airport pickup and dropoff were at very inconvenient times but the hotel sent someone who was wonderful and on time.

This hotel is nothing short of fantastic. The staff have been wonderful to communicate with and the quality is outstanding. When booking a private hotel instead of a chain I always worry a little as you don't know what you're going to truly get but this one knocked it out of the park. The rooms are clean and have everything you need including a nice comfortable bed (not to hard - not too soft). The breakfast provided is several tasty Costa Rican dishes. There are several sitting areas around the hotel to be out and enjoying the sun or shade should you prefer.

It's in a safe neighborhood to walk to some of the local restaurants - which I also found didn't disappoint.

I absolutely would stay here again! I'm glad this property came up in the search and was so much more affordable than a large north american franchise name.

The hotel is very comfortable and clean. The hotel staff was excellent. They delivered a full breakfast to my room without asking. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling in the area of Heredia.

Arrived quite late, and had to ring the bell a few times outside the gate. But check in was really fast.
In the morning, great breakfast and coffee, and the owner called us to ask about our plans and gave us tips and directions. Really good!
