Pros:

My room door 304B had trouble opening and closing the door. Bc the carpet is lifting or there was some cracks in the wall

Cons:

Im unsure if it was the owner or not but my friend had come to visit and this lady who worked there was being a little racist. VERY UNHAPPY WITH THAT, That was my 4th time stay there and i never had an issue

It smelt like mould , water was dripping from the ceiling into our bedroom and they had put one of our motel towels underneath it to catch the drips. Carpet was all rotten and half pulled out. Was utterly disappointing

Location and staff were very good; the room although clean and quiet, was not as comfortable as I would expect from Rydg

Location was ideal for our stay.

Cons:

Tv initially not functioning but staff were quick to have maintenance check to find circuit switch had tripped - all was fine after that.

The king bed was more firm than I have experienced in previous situations.

The air con whilst it worked very well and was cool during the day (being a positive in mackay summer) - it was quite cool to sleep with the temperature which seemed to be at a setting which could not be regulated.

Nice place to stay, a bit dated, but had everything you need.
Pros:

Location was perfect to watch the fireworks on NYE

Cons:

It’s a bit dated, the roof was sagging like water damaged. The tv in the lounge room had no remote and didn’t work.

Pros:

To Starry off with the General manager is a true blue legend and does a top notch job, all the bar staff are a 10/10 absolute legends bets place to grab a cocktail
