Great hotel, not great communication in relation to noise.
Pros:

Clean, modern, good location.

Cons:

It is directly opposite a night club that plays music until 3am on Saturday night. I was staying with a child as noted in the booking with a big carnival starting early in the morning.

Sign in room said no refund for noise complaints and they can’t help the adjoining properties noise and complementary ear plugs would be provided. None were.

We rang the out of hours emergency number. No one at reception. Phone rang and rang until after over a 1/2 hour we were put through to bar next door. They responded promptly with ear plugs, which was appreciated.

But my recommendation is that when someone books a room - with a child - where clearly multiple people have made noise complaints (you have it on your sign in the room and provide ear plugs!!) we should have been notified of the noise issue and offered a room on the opposite side of the building or advised on check in of options as that room will be noisy until 3am!

We were not seeking a refund but a solution so we could get some sleep that specific night.

No one was at reception on check out at 8am to discuss this with either.

It’s a must stay if you like a central location with old time service.

Staff were amazing. The room was terrible.

Hi. I was allocated Room 115 and when I walked in the room, I knew immediately why there was ear plugs on the bedside table. The room was extremely noisy being next to a large number of air conditioning units. Also, this air con units were my view in what was a very small room. It's also important to note that the showers had mould through the tile grout and speaking of showers, I was terrified to set the smoke alarm off (signage made me very nervous and very aware that this was a possibility) so I barely turned any hot water on in fear of creating steam.
