DO NO BOOK SCAM

This hotel is scam! I booked a doble room in the process of booking alway state doble room, after payed with credit card I have the email confirmation for single room 2 Adults room ( how it works? Is it 2 pax or single?the bed was just for one pax so the other goes to floor? Or sleep in bath? I show the booking and they told that I could put 4 people but anyway it is a single room... after that told me they will refound, so I walk out.... but never refound me... sent 2 emails requesting, neither answer... they charged the total to my credit card but no honor the booking for 2 people neither honor the refound . DO NOT BOOK!

This hotel was in a great location, the room was clean and perfect size for a solo traveler, and the staff were very accommodating. I was traveling from out of state and had a day delay arriving. When I spoke to them on the phone to explain, they told me not to worry because my room would be ready when I arrived. DON'T LET THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS IN OTHER POSTS AFFECT YOU PICKING THIS PLACE!
The rooms are small, yes, but the price is great and it's Midtown. New York is a huge city, so guess what... it's going to have outside noise during the night. It's the city that never sleeps. Bottom line. In 5 days I went to Rockefeller center, Times Square, Hells Kitchen, Central Park, and to Katz Deli in the Lower East side without having to spend a lot of commuting. If you are cheap, but looking for 5-star amenities, this is not the place for you. Just spend $100 more per night and stay uptown!!

Bed and bedding was comfortable. Room was mainly clean, except the long dark hairs on floor.
