A wonderful stay!
Pros:

This is our third time staying at this hotel when in Nagoya and it is always a delightful stay! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and make us wish we could stay longer. Its location high above the train station makes it so convenient to get to, and added to that is the amazing shopping (especially Takashimaya) so close, makes this hotel a perfect location. More importantly, as soon as you go through the sliding doors from the busy train station, you feel like you’re entering a calm, quiet oasis. I love the attention to detail including the love,y classical music in the elevators, the beautifully appointed rooms and bathrooms with lovely amenities. Traveling from Canada, we like to think of this hotel as our second home only it’s much better! LOL! The breakfast buffet is amazing for choice although this time around my husband was disappointed he couldn’t get the best eggs Benedict he’s had and that he got used to on our other trips. Also the lounge upstairs has such great city views.

アップグレードしてくれた部屋が23階の眺めの良い広い部屋で、最高でした。

Location, location, location.
Pros:

Location is the foremost reason why we always think of the property whenever we are visiting Nagoya. It is so convenient and almost all the amenities are within reach without having to step outside especially during summer heat or winter cold. Even the subway is connected to the JR station. So convenient whenever we are in Nagoya for a short trip.

Cons:

Age is definitely catching up with the property but it is not exactly aging in a bad way, just that the lobby area can feel cluttered at times, making it look like a marketplace more than a established hotel lobby.
