Great location just above Nagoya station. The hotel is connected to the station and a few other building ls including a restaurant street. Breakfast is nice lots of good choices. Decorations are classic. Price is reasonable. Room is big in Japan standard
Not much. If I have to say maybe it is little bit old. But totally acceptable

今回はツインルームだったが、以前宿泊した時のダブルルームでは冷蔵庫の音は気にならなかった記憶がある。
The Nagoya Marriott Associa hotel has the best location right at the main train station. Yet, the rooms are quiet with great views. The service is top notch and the breakfast is fantastic with a large selection of American and Japanese food.
As a Titanium member, the Concierge Lounge was great for checking in and afternoon teas. Also, had food and drink selections throughout the day.
The rooms are good size. We were upgraded to the 49th floor larger guest room. The two sinks, separate bath and shower and separate toilet room were nice features. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was excellent and very quiet.
I would consider staying at this hotel if you will be in Nagoya.
Cleanliness
The spoken english of your frontline check in staff is very poor. Secondly your hotel is bureaucratic and full of regulations. Cannot check in until 3pm even tho rooms are available. Guests are asked to pay to use the swimming pool. This is the worst Marriot I have stayed at

I stayed three nights here.
Great location above Nagoya station.
While the hotel is old it is grand in an old fashioned way including its rooms.
I was upgraded to a deluxe for the first two nights and a junior suite on last night.
The club lounge served average acceptable breakfast and dinner.
It has sparkling wine.
Both breakfast and dinner service can have more variety, eg bread and desserts in dinner.
Breakfast in lobby restaurant has 50% discount for Marriott Bonvoy members at 2400 yen but I did not try.
The gym was well equipped with adequate machines, dumbbells, multifunctional double pulley and many treadmills and bicycles.
I sustained forehead laceration on my third day.
The hotel lobby duty manager an older tall bespectacled Japanese man was very helpful including calling the hospital for me and walking me to the taxi and writing down instructions for taxi drivers.
He went above expectations.
Unfortunately I was too shaken by the accident to recall his name.
Nice place to shopping and subway.
Morning breakfast every the same food.

基本的項目は上々、満足できました。もう一段あげてクラスを超えていくための要件のひとつとして、私からは以下を提言しておきます。
1️⃣フロントスタッフの更なるレベルアップ。(伊勢参りの為の適切な交通手段の案内ができなかった)近くのスーパーバイザーデスクでは完璧にアドバイス願えました。
2️⃣朝食にハーブ🌿ティーの用意がない。コーヒーは勿論、緑茶やティーの飲めない女性はわりと多い。
