Absolutely what I wanted for my stay in Bar Harbor, Maine. Cozy bed and breakfast with local charm. Super close to downtown which was perfect. Parking was convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful. I greatly enjoyed the fireplace with the complimentary tea offered. Breakfast was simple grab and go offerings. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was a bit outdated but spacious as well. We loved our stay.
Clean, comfortable, quiet and a good value.
I like that it’s cozy, doesn’t feel too commercial.
The staff were amazing!
Nothing
Loved our stay at Queen Anne’s Revenge — cozy, walkable to everything in Bar Harbor, super friendly staff, and an ideal home base for exploring Acadia National Park. Would definitely stay again!
Had such a wonderful stay here!! All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is perfect - a 10 minute walk to downtown Bar Harbor and parking onsite made it very easy. We stayed in the guest house and it was extremely clean and spacious with lots of beautiful touches throughout. It was a great price especially for 7 people. It was quiet throughout the day and at night and the house had everything we needed for a long weekend stay.
The breakfast was perfect. The only complaint I would have cannot be fixed, and that is Ace Hardware next door was loading or unloading product and woke us up at 5:30 am. I would recommend getting a room on the opposite side of the hotel.
Nothing!
Amazing experience! Staff was kind, room was beautiful, and breakfast was delicious! The location is great being close to restaurants and shops in bar harbor. Super close drive for all the hikes and nature exploration.
It was super close to the cute town. Though our room was small, it had everything we needed. Every space was well thought out. The used of the kitchen and sitting area was a great addition.
Queen Ann’s was such a fun place to stay. The theming was perfect for summer, or for a fall/winter stay. It was very quaint and the room was beautiful. We couldn’t hear anyone around us. The staff we met were all incredibly nice as well.
The parking is very tight. Large vehicles would not do well here. There weren’t any open spots in the front of either building one night so we had to stop and ask the person in the lobby where to park. Luckily they had a few more spots in the back but we wouldn’t have known they were there unless we had gone in to ask.
Close distance to restaurants and water
There were bricks that were lose that caused me to trip
the size of the 2 main rooms
size of bathroom - description of what I booked and what I got were entirely different. It said tub/shower. We had a small shower, without any adjustability of the shower head so the water was in my face the whole shower. The teeny tiny sink was so small couldn't even get my small hands all the way under the faucet. The only horizontal surface to set anything on was a small shelf above the sink that was half occupied by the soap and lotion dispensers. No facial tissue provided. The bed was high and difficult to get into without a step but the worse part was the bedside tables were to low for the height of the bed. Lack of plugs near bed on one side, had a single USB A charger, and no available wall plugs. Most chargeable devices are USB C.
