Only location. Breakfast was okay.
They have us a room with everything malfunctioning. Bathroom shower didn’t work. Room didn’t match with booking. However lately they agreed to change room. The receptionist was too harsh when ai asked for a clarification she answered rudely.

For a small hotel amongst hundreds of others, this one stood out because of the staff. We booked three rooms and were upgraded to slightly better ones. So how was the staff good? One of the rooms had a bad Air conditioning unit. We complained and were switched to a better room. One room did not have a fridge. One was brought in almost immediately and one room was missing the tv remote...5 minutes and a service person brought one. Breakfast was very tasty and there was enough choice for everyone. We took a tour through the hotel to Halong Bay at an exceptional price and the boat was real nice. On our last night we informed the front desk that we will be departing early and without hesitation the person at reception offered breakfast boxes to take with us early in the morning. One word of advice, if you book a shuttle bus or trip make sure you confirm the hotel address because there is more than one Starlight Hotel. Five stars for this place....
Very friendly and helpful staff. They looked after our luggage for a day and laundry reasonable.
Room dark and small. Bathroom tiny, sink leaked, no shower screen so water went everywhere. Little to no hot water.
A/C could not be adjusted and blew very cold air. A fan would help.
Bed was small and pillow rock hard. There was a dental pick on the floor and surfaces grimy.
Breakfast was meagre- not replenished, no juice, tea .

The staff was nice
It is in need of serious maintenance and upkeep. No soap dish in shower, toilet clogged upon arrival, no refrigerator or safe. It was in rough shape. Only nice area was the lobby and even that had no aircon.
Das Hotel hat eine super Lage im Old Quarter von Hanoi - Massagen, gute Restaurants & Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind unmittelbar vor Ort. Auch zur Train Street ist es nicht weit.
Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Personal, vorallem Minh an der Rezeption.
Wir haben über sie spontan mehrere Touren gebucht (die super Organisiert waren, man brauchte sich um nichts kümmern!), konnten unsere Rucksäcke für eine mehrtägige Trekking Tour im Hotel lassen & spontan zwei Nächte mehr in dem Hotel buchen.
Sie hatte immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen & hat uns wirklich gut beraten!
Aber auch das weitere Personal war stets sehr freundlich & hilfsbereit.

The staff was pleasant and willing to help with any questions, the breakfast was okay, the location was a little far in my opinion from the bustling area of the old city but not too far (10 minute walk)
The shower was very small and cramped and with a lot of mold on the floor and walls between the tiles.
