Great location
Pros:

The staff was very friends, kind and helpful. The hotel is situated in downtown, near the bus station to the airport.

Cons:

The breakfast was poorly made and the coffee was not very good. The room was very noisy, facing a circulated street and bad noise isolated.

Den Umständen entsprechend gut!

Praktische Lage zwischen Bahnhof, Busstation und Stadtzentrum mit Theater und Domplatz. Gutes Frühstück mit frischem italienischem Kaffee. Sehr freundliche Frühstücksservice-Dame (Daniella), ihre Ratschläge waren zuverlässig und Gold wert !
Zimmer ausreichend, durch die Lage wenig Licht. Aber glücklicherweise hatten wir ein Zimmer, das nach hinten und nicht zur Straße hinaus liegt. Denn da ist Tag und Nacht viel Verkehr.

Cons:

Kein Aufzug, für uns kein Problem. Altes Haus ohne jede Renovierung über Jahrzehnte! Aber davon gibt es in Catania Tausende!.

Was wird mit den 3,50 € Touristentaxe pro Person und pro Übernachtung gemacht? Der Infopoint im Stadtzentrum ist schön bis elegant. Aber darüber hinaus merkt man von der "öffentlichen Hand" gar nichts...! Das Personal wollte nichts über die Verkehrsverbiindungen nach Taormina, in die 3 Acis = Acireale, Aci Trezza und Aci Castello sagen, "Geht zum Bahnhof bzw. Busbahnhof"... In jedem französischen Touristenbüro gibt es alle Informationen, zum Mitlese auf dem PC-Bildschirm und zuverlässig, da klafft doch eine tiefe Kluft...

Jetzt ein wichtiges Thema, für das das Hotel nicht verantwortlich ist:

Für Reisende, die ihre Reise selbt planen und organisieren:
Die Zeitangaben für den Zugverkehr am Bahnhof sind einigermaßen zuverlässig und die meisten angekündigten Züge fahren tatsächlich.
Der Busverkehr außerhalb der Stadt ist völlig desorgaisiert. Das Privatunternehmen Interbus-Etna mit seinen blauen Bussen ist für sich selbst gut organisiert. Aber sie und jede andere Gesellschaft kümmert sich nur um sich.
Inakzeptabel ist der Organisationsstand der noch staatlischen Gesellschaft AST - Agencia Siciliana de Trasporto: Die Papier-Fahrpläne mit den Abfahrtszeiten sind abgerissen und niemand ersetzt sie! Die Zeiten, die man von Fahrern erfährt, sind frei erfunden. Website-Angaben stimmen nicht. Es gibt Destinationen wie Acireale, wo nur AST-Busse hinfahren, der Bahnhof ist ein Stück weit vom Ortszentrum entfernt. Also: zu meiden, so gut es geht. Von Siracusa aus zu den Barockstädten ist AST ebenfalls oft das einzige Angebot: Kommt oder kommt nicht, Unterverträge mit privaten Busunternehmen, niemand weiß nichts, die Fahrer sind über ihre eigene Aufgabe informiert, aber vermeiden es, über anderes Auskunft zu geben, "ich mache meinen Job", verständlich, aber doch unbefriedigend.

La posizione della struttura rispetto ai principali monumenti e centro città. Comodo per le fermate dei bus cittadini e per aeroporto. Personale simpatico e disponibile.

Cons:

Arredamento della camera dai mobili agli accessori, scomodi e non belli. Camera, almeno la 104 poco insonorizzata.

Struttura a due passi dal centro città, pulita e confortevole.
Pros:

Colazione ottima e varia, gestore molto disponibile, ci ha permesso di effettuare il check-in oltre l'orario standard.
Camera pulita, arredo un pò vintage ma funzionale.

La taille de l'hébergement.
Le confort du lit, bien qu'il grince si l'on bouge trop.
Le breakfast.

Cons:

Le mauvais calfeutrage des fenêtres, malgré le double vitrage, qui laisse passer les bruits de la rue.
Le chauffage / climatisation qui fonctionne mal et qui est bruyant.

Pros:

La colazione è un momento piacevole e familiare, in cui ci si sente a casa e si mangia benissimo! Molta cura nelle esigenze e anche eventuali richieste più particolari. La posizione è stata per me molto comoda, in centro storico ma anche vicina alla stazione per potersi muovere agevolmente.
