Pros:

Stayed here recently and, unfortunately, it didn’t feel worth the £100 price — more like £70 at best. The room décor is very outdated and in need of a refresh.

Check-in was more complicated than expected, with three different codes needed just to get in. The spare sofa bed wasn’t made up on arrival, which was disappointing.

Cleanliness was also an issue — the bedsheets and pillows didn’t feel clean, and there was mould around the shower beading (see photos).

The location is good, which is probably the main positive.

One thing to be aware of is the £100 deposit taken about 10 days before arrival. After check-out, I had to chase to get it refunded, which wasn’t ideal and felt unnecessarily inconvenient.

Overall, not a terrible stay, but definitely not great value for money.

Nice stay in the city centre
Pros:

It was a nice experience, the staff was very nice and the location is great for city exploring. There are a lot of nice cafes and bars around. We found in the suite everything we needed.

Cons:

We were disturbed by the noises of our neighbours in the night, the walls are apparently very thin. And the floor in our room wasn't clean, I had my socks dirty in 5 minutes of walking there.

Very pleasant stay in a nice part of Edinburgh.
Pros:

The accommodation was good and very well located. Cleanliness was very good.

Cons:

Communications with Booking.com could have been better. I wish I had been told by Booking.com to expect a very late email with the door entry codes. The email arrived whilst we were travelling to Edinburgh. As I hadn't been told to look out for an email I was not expecting it at that stage. We had to ring the Edinburgh city suites to then be told to check my emails. It was eventually resolved but communications could have been much better.

A home away from home.
Pros:

The room was comfortable, cosy and had every thing we needed (other than a 2nd bedside table). I can't fault the room, location, cleanliness or staff. The bed was very comfy and I slept very well during our stay. The room was also so quiet and relaxing after a day's sightseeing. My only regret was our stay was only two nights.

Property is also central and you can either get a taxi or walk into the main attractions. I don't walk very well but felt safe and enjoyed our ramble into town. This place is an excellent find and we will be back the next time we stay over in Edinburgh.

Cons:

A 2nd bedside table or even a shelf in the corner to put my glasses etc on at night. I had to put them on the floor overnight as I didn't have a bedside table to put them on. It was no biggie for me but it may affect other people more.

Poor facilities and poor value for money
Pros:

Booked a twin room but got there and the second bed was a pull out sofa that was appealing

Tienen que mejorar la atención al cliente

La ubicación y su distribución y amplitud

Cons:

Tenía algunas pelusas en el suelo. Y el servicio de atención al cliente fue bueno hasta que llegamos al alojamiento. No nos dieron las claves, y no tenían WhatsApp de contacto. No podíamos llamar por teléfono con nuestra tarifa y no nos contestaron al mail ni por booking. Conseguimos entrar porque le dio las claves a una huésped de habla inglesa que nos ayudó. Lo mismo ocurrió con el secador de pelo, nos dijeron que había y no lo encontrábamos . Nos contestaron que estaba en otro lugar y cuando conseguimos encontrarlo en un cajón , estaba roto y a punto de hacer un cortocircuito. Por último, me manifestaron que podía dejar el equipaje en recepción, y cuando pegamos para dejarlo nadie nos abrió, escribimos y caso omiso. Con esta circunstancia llegamos tarde a una excursión y tuvimos que pagar 30 libras en un depósito de la estación
