Hotel Veneto Firenze

We spent there 5 nights and we can definitely recommend it. You get all that you need: clean rooms, comfortable beds, very good breakfast (bread, eggs, cheese, ham, sausages, yogurt, croissants, jams, cakes).
​And you also get a delicious coffee, specifically cappuccino. Thank you to the nice gentleman for remembering that we drink cappuccino every morning. The reception staff is also very kind and friendly.
​I truly do not understand negative comments. Rooms are cleaned every day, towels are changed, the beds are comfortable, and the design is also interesting. The only thing to mention is the bathroom is small, so for bigger people it might be a problem to move around :)
​The hotel is located in a fantastic spot, close to everything! Lots of restaurants, bars, shops around. Definitely we can recommend it.

Dårlig utvalg til frokost, og i tillegg klarte de å gå tom for f. eks. Kornblanding. Rent rom, knøttlite bad og veldig begrenset sosiale soner.

Vi kommer ikke til å bo her igjen og vil heller ikke anbefale hotellet.

Creo que el título sería la casa del terror, las habitaciones no se parecen en nada a las fotos, tenía zancudos y moscas, el baño no entraban dos personas y lo peor de todo el aire acondicionado solo funcionaba de 2:30 pm a 9 am y era tan pobre que creo que con ese aire no apagabas ni un fósforo , en conclusión el peor hotel de mi vida, según ellos 3 estrellas y excelentes comentarios, realmente no se porque este hotel sigue en la plataforma de información, para mí una estafa

En la recepción fotocopiaron los pasaportes de toda mi familia aunque no era necesario aunque les solicite que sólo fotocopiaran el de quien reservó la habitación , ignoraron la petición y se quedaron con las copias .

Very close to downtown

첫날 체크인 데스크에 두남자의 상태를 보고 호텔상태를 읽을수 있었다.

화장실은 비행기 기내처럼 좁고 수압은 낮고 창문으로는 창고물건이 보관되어 있어 열수 없었고 고객 VOC는 완전히 무시되었습니다. 수십년간의 가족여행 경험자로서 최악의 지옥을 경험 하였습니다. 하우스키핑도 2일마다 하는 호텔은 처음입니다.

근데 도시세는 3성급호텔에 6유로를 받습니다. 피렌체시 행정은 제대로 작동하고 있는지 의문입니다.

The rooms have been painted garish colors since the professional posted photos were taken. I was here with a large travel group and the staff was friendly and accommodating. However; my room was cramped and somewhat dirty- the shower was TINY, looks as if it was added as an afterthought and way smaller than the typical small Italian showers I’ve experienced. Although my ground floor room did not, many of my fellow travelers’ rooms upstairs had a strong and off putting smell- maybe mildew or mold? The lack of an elevator, paired with steep stair, was a pain as well.

Unfortunately would not stay here again nor recommend, although the staff were lovely. Our room had no hot water for shower … one small drop of mild water was all that would come out. Bed was 2 single beds pushed together , that did not stay together & made for an uncomfortable sleep.
Location & staff were great. Just the amenities in room that were well below average.

I made a reservation online with the hotel. They send me a confirmation that did not contain any details. My mistake for not requesting the details. When we arrived late in the evening, they charged me about 40% more than I signed for online; moreover, they told me that I booked for 1 person, though we were two people. Despite the fact that the room has three beds, they charged me additionally 20euro per night for the second person.
The room is extremely small, and has only a very small desk. We kept our stuff on the third bed. The sing in a bathroom does not have any countertop, so we had to keep all our toiletries in the room. The shower is so small, that I was not able to get in (I'm size 42).
The breakfast was reasonably good, but once they run out of something (like scrambled eggs), they will not bring more.

No hay elevador y las escaleras son muy empinadas, no llega el wifi a las habitaciones y constantemente se quedan sin presión de agua

The neighbors next door were slamming doors at night . Someone was knocking on our hotel room door , it was a loud hallway overall . Walls are paper thin you can hear every conversation in the room next door . Shower head did not work . No phone in a room to call reception . Lots of stairs ( like a maze ). No extra blankets .AC took about 6 hours to cool the room .

We have requested for ground floor room and they agreed, but when we checked in we we were given a room on the second floor; there was no lift inside this hotel and I was with an elder. And I just realised that they have given us a single room when we booked for a double room; the room photos we saw then were not not close to the room in reality. The toilet is small, we can’t even turn when showering, and it was giving out a pungent smell all the time. City tax, we were overcharged and they did not give us a receipt.

The only plus point is that the location was good and the staff were friendly.

But it was not worth the money we spent.

I’ve been in this hotel few years ago,precisely before the covid scene.In that time was superb(I stayed with my partner and my two sons) but unfortunately,as the reception reported me,with the new owner/s,I definitely do not recommend this hotel to nobody.
My sincere apologies,but Ican not be false.

vicina a tutti le piazze

The front desk people were so kind. My room would absorb a lot of heat during the day but the ac worked great.

So let’s start with the positives the mattress is nice and so are the pillows, and the hotel location is great 10 minutes from the cathedral. We had a room in the loft it was very hot the aircon didn’t work for a few days and we had two tiny windows. The hotel is across the street from a very noise youth looking place and the showers are cold and have no pressure but this might be because of our loft room. The breakfast is terrible I really wouldn’t waste your time but the coffee is good 👍. I wouldn’t come back to this hotel but the staff are nice, I just think a youth hostel would be better and cheaper than £300 per night.
