This stay was a gift from my parents and was an extra special occasion as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, which the hotel was aware and it would have been good if the hotel had offered a small gift or something similar.
Smiles from every member of staff and greeting to my grandchildren made them feel special. Room was excellent for a family and lovely view. Breakfast was wonderful as usual.

Well one thing I found a bit odd was the open public access to all floors.

Just far enough from the town centre to be quiet at night.
The menus for the restaurant and bar were the same it would have been nice to have different foods to choose from.
Disappointed that there wasn't a fridge in the room nor a full length mirror. No tissues in the bathroom. Room extras seem to be pared back to a minimum whereas at the price we paid we would have expected a few more "luxuries".
However, all in all, it was a very nice room with a lovely sea view but we had expected it would have been a little larger.
Breakfast was good but dinner was VERY POOR AND WOULD NOT HAVE DINNER THERE AGAIN
the chairs on the bakcony were not very clean and were not cleaned when the room was cleaned. The girls on reception were very helpful, cheerful and goo but the gentleman on reception was very surly
Room was clean and tidy with a great view. Maybe a little tired in places.
Work top in room needs re varnishing - a simple solution to making the room not feel so tired.More fresh fruit and bread choices would be good for breakfast.
