Great location, very clean hotel, standard double rather small.
Room was rather small.
I had a single room with a superb sea view.
The breakfast was very good.
The only thing I didn’t like was the foyer seating area was very cold in February.
Room was comfortable, bed was lovely and big.
Would have liked some bottled water in the room. I'm sure when we have stayed before this was supplied but perhaps I am mistaken and it's just something I expect as other hotels usually do supply a bottle of still and a bottle of sparking water.
Also there was no alternative to everyday tea or a sachet of coffee. I would have expected at least a peppermint tea bag or two.
The jam at breakfast was very poor, just a couloured jelly. I would expect at least something resembling an upmarket brand that had evidence of pieces of fruit.
Choice of fruit at breakfast was limited to fruit to peel and chop yourself, fruit compote and tinned grapefruit.
Very pleased. Only very minor issue was the main restaurant was not open. The bar was good though, room service was good and there are numerous good restaurants very close by. Location is excellent. Parking easy. Will be returning soon.

I recently stayed at The View Hotel in Eastbourne for one night and had an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were excellent — friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout my stay.
As a lovely surprise, I was even given a room upgrade, which was a real bonus and made the visit feel even more special. The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything needed for a relaxing stay.
Although my visit was short, everything about the hotel made it a very enjoyable experience. The service really stood out, and it’s clear the staff take pride in making guests feel welcome.
Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I would happily return when visiting Eastbourne again.
If you have any disabilities speak to staff and maybe choose one of excellent wet rooms. The service in the hotel is very good. It was a shame the restaurant for evening meals was not open at the time of our visit.
Overall experience good but check that the restaurant is open in the evening during the winter months.

Always very friendly and helpful staff, whether on reception, waiting staff or cleaning staff. Even the standard rooms are good sized, comfortable rooms....but the more luxurious rooms are fabulous for a special treat!
