Overall would recommend it.
Pros:

It was a beautiful hotel well located with an excellent restaurant. We enjoyed the salt pool and the room overall as well as the view from our room and balcony. We were able to get on trails with our electric bikes right behind the hotel.

Cons:

The bed was uncomfortable and the comforter was far too heavy for this season even with the AC turned down. It was difficult to get onto the Wi-Fi. The front desk has some newer staff that wasn't always supported when we had questions.

Pros:

So beautiful! Every detail felt quaint and elevated! Right by the river path and in a very cute neighborhood. Delicious brunch at the restaurant. Great pool.

It was ok, overpriced for what we got
Cons:

We have been coming to BV for years. Had to book last minute due to our normal place we stay not available. There was no Cable, not a huge deal but still...., They need more hangers for clothes, an actual closet would be nice not just a bar with 3 hangers in the corner. BV is gorgeous and the hotel is nice, its just you expect a tad more for what you pay for a room.

Pros:

Loved the room with a balcony and especially the hot pool.

Cons:

Front desk was not very friendly. We found out about the hot pool from our waitress at dinner. Food was marginal.

The location was great, the stay was just okay 😕
Pros:

The location, facilities, and staff were great!

Cons:

The room I'd booked for my birthday was not available, but the staff was great and "upgraded" us to another room. Still would have preferred the original (I like small and cozy). It was too late for me to find another hotel for my birthday or drive all the way back home (3 hours). We just made the most of it. Going from the chateau from the pool was annoying as they do not provide robes or changing rooms. It was well below freezing, so we had to carry out clothes and awkwardly change in the fireplace lounge during a tour and when other guests were having a drink by the fire. This is definitely something that needs to be addressed by the hotel.
