Bon séjour pour une nuit pour des locaux mais ne convient pas à des touristes en road trip.
Pros:

Très belle localisation au cœur du village historique du Val Jalbert.

Cons:

Absolument pas pratique pour des touristes : parking boueux, pas de chemin pour les bagages, pas d'ascenseur, chambre bien trop étroite pour 3 adultes (++++) et petit déjeuner bas de gamme sans aucun produit du terroir pourtant riche.

Pros:

Un must de dormir sur le site. Cela permet d’avoir accès la nuit à tout, et de pouvoir se balader entre les ruines. Un moment inoubliable garantie.

An interesting dive into the past.
Pros:

The point of staying here is to enjoy the "historic village" outside of general public hours which gives a better sense of the period as you visit about with very few people around. During public hours some of the historic demonstrations are well-done and interesting (we attended one of the classes in the convent and enjoyed it.

Cons:

A better explanation of the place up front and how it works during public and non-public hours would have been preferable.

Chambre propre et confortables. Personnel agréable.

Cons:

Les chambres se situe dans un village reconstitué, un peu ‘fake’. Il faut être friand du côté ‘parc d’attraction’ ce qui n’était pas notre cas. Petit déjeuner assez médiocre, café ou thé proposé, lait en supplément.
