Sehr nahe am Fährhafen, Vermieter sehr freundlich! Schöne Aussicht über Hafen.

Cons:

Unser Appartment war sehr klein, die Küche konnte man nicht benutzen (Herdplatten verrostet, Kühlschrank kaputt). Duschen war schwer möglich, weil Wasserstrahl sehr schwach.

Harbour Vista Inn est idéalement situé, près du terminal de ferry, des commerces, de la station de bus pour Vieux Fort.

James ist ein guter Gastgeber, ich habe mich wohlgefühlt.
Der Blick von der Terrasse auf den Hafen ist sehr schön.
Es gab ein gutes Frühstück (nicht inklusive). Damit hätte ich nicht gerechnet.
WLAN und Klimaanlage funktionierten gut.

Cons:

In die Stadt (zum Abendessen u.ä.) sind es 15 zu Fuß auf steilen Straßen.
Ich fand es seltsam, dass nirgendwo ein Schild mit dem Namen des Hotels steht.
Aus der Dusche kam nur kaltes Wasser.

White House with a view!
Pros:

The location near the FRS terminal + the view make it a great choice, especially for 0730 departures. James is a nice friendly accommodating host. The area around is relatively poor, but friendly people with real local bars, shops & bakery. More life than in the centre nearby which dies at 7pm. Short walk to Castries centre for public buses (which are vans).

Cons:

The walk up and down the hill is only 100m but not for anyone with limited mobility! Beware of prices: when talking to visitors, locals, especially taxis, quote dollars, but mean US not East Caribbean Dollars! 2.7XVD to 1USD.

Convenient not classy
Pros:

The property is close to the ferry terminal but up a very steep hill. Don’t try to walk. James was very nice and made us excellent sandwiches on arrival.

Cons:

I’m not sure the sheets were clean. Lots of crumbs/fluff. We accidentally booked a shared bathroom. We booked this hotel for the shuttle service. James organised this but it was expensive. $60 ECD to the airport. The air con did not work no matter what we tried.

Pleasant overnight stay
Pros:

I deliberately chose this property as it was easy to access with a car and extremely close to the port for the ferry. It was as described- nothing fancy but clean and had all the requirements

Cons:

Not a dislike - but people keep talking about the neighbourhood and safety. I didn’t feel unsafe- yes late at night there a people who are intoxicated after 7pm but they are more annoying than dangerous. Lit well enough for me to go as a single woman down the hill at 5am
