Pros:

The host was great. He provide good information, was very helpful and kind. We had a good time hanging out and talking. Loved the mangoes from his mango tree!

Cons:

The room was very basic in every way. There was heavy machinery noise from expansion on the premises. The locaton is great for views but very uphill & in a poor neighborhood that is tricky to access.

Pros:

We were arriving late (11pm) by the ferry, James the manager has proactively sent a taxi to pick us which was super helpful (don’t try to walk up that hill at night, especially not with luggage!). While the Inn is definitely a budget option, it was all good and the views from the common area terrace in the morning were nice.

If you’re looking for an inexpensive, basic but comfortable accommodation close to the ferry to Martinique, Harbour Vist
Pros:

Great location close to the FRS Express ferry. Very nice view of harbour.James offered to makes us sandwiches although quite expensive when the cost came thru.

Cons:

High price for a couple sandwiches. My mistake, I should have asked the price before proceeding.

Cons:

La proximité avec le port certes mais une facturation du propriétaire de 13$US pour deux minutes de voiture un peu excessif.
Ma climatisation a marché qu’un temps, panne pendant la nuit. Pas de bouteille d’eau. Globalement cher pour ce que c’est.

Short stay which provided comfort and a lovely welcome
Pros:

I chose the hotel for its location i.e. very near to the ferry terminal. I was dropped there by taxi and left the next day on foot. I arrived before check-in time but James was most helpful with my bags and even if the room had not been ready (which it was) said I could wait in the sitting room area anyway. They also offered me sandwiches and drinks at a reasonable cost to save me trying to sort out food for just one night.
James was helpful and communicative and really made you feel welcome. He even made himself available early in the morning, to help with the bags back down the stairs.

Cons:

Note the road to/from it is very steep so I wouldn't want to walk up it and had fun controlling a heavy suitcase on wheels going down it. Obviously they can't change this but do be aware. Also, if you want to go out and eat, then it is a taxi ride to the other side of Castries.

Relaxing Stay with a Fantastic Host
Pros:

James is a fantastic host – very friendly and full of helpful tips. The accommodation is ideally located close to the harbor, perfect for arriving by boat. The balcony offers a beautiful view. The room was very cozy and the entire place beautifully maintained. We also enjoyed James’s delicious breakfast. Overall, our stay was very relaxing – highly recommended!

Für eine Nacht ok
Pros:

Sehr nahe am Fährhafen, Vermieter sehr freundlich! Schöne Aussicht über Hafen.

Cons:

Unser Appartment war sehr klein, die Küche konnte man nicht benutzen (Herdplatten verrostet, Kühlschrank kaputt). Duschen war schwer möglich, weil Wasserstrahl sehr schwach.

James ist ein guter Gastgeber, ich habe mich wohlgefühlt.
Der Blick von der Terrasse auf den Hafen ist sehr schön.
Es gab ein gutes Frühstück (nicht inklusive). Damit hätte ich nicht gerechnet.
WLAN und Klimaanlage funktionierten gut.

Cons:

In die Stadt (zum Abendessen u.ä.) sind es 15 zu Fuß auf steilen Straßen.
Ich fand es seltsam, dass nirgendwo ein Schild mit dem Namen des Hotels steht.
Aus der Dusche kam nur kaltes Wasser.
