Kupang doesn’t have a lot to offer

The staff are always the best part of the hotel experience

Cons:

Lighting in the room was poor
No fridge/ minibar in the room
The hotel management agreed that reference to same on Booking.com was wrong
No mosquito “management” in common areas
No notice that the hotel does not sell/ serve alcohol
No notice from the hotel that access to the immediate beach is very difficult
The bar next to the hotel plays very loud music and is open until around 0400 hrs

Pros:

Location is on the water which is lovely and a great spot to watch the stunning sunsets. Bedrooms are a good size with very comfortable beds.
Breakfast has a good selection to choose from.
There are free water dispensers on every floor

Cons:

Check in staff weren’t very friendly unlike the rest of them.
The bed sheets were clean but very stained. They need new ones
The bath room had been superficially cleaned but there was mould all in the sink and anywhere where there was silicone Not only disgusting but it’s a health hazard.

Not sure why they bother advertising they have a gym as most of the equipment is broken.

Good but needs some tlc
Pros:

The swimming pool is great - overlooking the ocean makes it a nice place to stay. The rooms are a good size with comfortable beds. Make sure to get an ocean side room. Road side is cheaper as it is noisier. A very good breakfast is served in the mornings by very friendly staff. Water dispensers are in every floor offering free cold drinking water.

Cons:

Check in staff weren’t very welcoming.
The sheets although clean were stained and old. The bathroom was only superficially clean with black mould all in the sink and around the toilet.
There used to be a safe in the bedrooms but there aren’t any anymore.

NO BALCONY in my balcony room! Noisey sea view side road!
Pros:

It was a pretty decent room overall with great view, and had windows open… which for me is essential. But I had paid for a balcony room to ensure I got this. Got the windows but not the balcony:))

Cons:

The room description is wrong. It states there is a balcony and they are just two opening windows. It was INCREDIBLY noisy outside with local kids obviously celebrating something. I got up at 4 o’clock for my flight and it was still noisy then. Fortunately I am a pretty good sleeper and use AirPods with audiobooks to get off to sleep.
