Nice hotel, excellent location.
Pros:

There was no breakfast…it would have been nice!

Cons:

When asked for restaurant recommendations, 1, Cumpanio, was good for breakfast but the dinner recommendations were awful. They didn’t recommend their hotel restaurant, which was odd, as we ate there one night, lovely atmosphere and the food was very good.

It was certainly a lovely stay.
Pros:

The hotel is beautiful and two blocks from the main square. The rooms are very large and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. The restaurant is gorgeous and the food looks scrumptious although we dined elsewhere on a limited time schedule. The staff was extremely helpful.

Cons:

I wish they served breakfast. I would have liked an elevator as I am recovering from hip surgery. There was a step up to the bathroom which was a bit of trouble for me. But this is no impediment for someone who is not having trouble walking.

A perfect hotel in a perfect location!
Pros:

This is our second trip to San Miguel and the location of this property cannot be better. It is located in the center of town and easy to walk everywhere! Staff was fantastic although we are lucky to know a little Spanish. Communication a little tricky but totally doable. I highly recommend this property!

Cons:

I wish they served breakfast. The dining area is lovely and would have loved to enjoy mornings there.

Lugar encantador, cerca de todo.
Pros:

La ubicación excelente, hay un restaurante ubicado en el primer piso que recomiendo, el personal siempre dispuesto a ayudarte.

Cons:

Se escucha el ruido de las discotecas que se encuentran cercas hasta altas horas de la noche.

Location and restaurant is great but the female manager at the desk is th most inhospitable person I’ve ever dealt with.
Pros:

The restaurant staff and food was wonderful! The staff were professional, service at the restaurant was outstanding during the day.

The location is perfect!

Cons:

I booked two junior suites and the door lock on one of them did not lock at all. The worst part was the female hotel desk manager who told us “it’s okay okay that the doors don’t lock”. I had to demonstrate to the staff how easy it is to hop over the balcony wall and walk into the unlocked doors! She finally offered us a room where the doors locked but it wasn’t a junior suite…yet she refused to adjust the price of the room to the regular room rate! Her photo with the display of room descriptions and rates are included in this review.

Furthermore, we had to explain to to repeatedly that my female friend staying in the room is a single person so safety is more important the a balcony so we will take the regular safe room just please don’t charge us for a junior suite rate. We had fluent Spanish speakers with us there so there was no language barrier!

She refused to adjust the charge. And my friend is still working with her credit card company to make the adjustment after 5 weeks!

Also do not be fooled by the bed descriptions of the junior suites. They are not queen beds. They are between a twin and a full.
