A hotel with great accessibility and antique vibe
Pros:

Unique design inside and out with an antique vibe. The room is spacious and cozy. Convenient location with easy access to many of the happening places. Staff are friendly and helpful. Each of them performs multiple roles, from front desk duty to serving at the restaurant to valet parking.

Cons:

The breakfast could have a bit more variety although I understood that the hotel is trying to keep it traditional and simple.

Sehr einfaches Appartement im OG in ruhiger Altstadtgasse

Sehr einfach möbliertes Apt. (Goldener Ring 1) im 1.Obergeschoss (Goldene Ringasse 6) nur über eine Holztreppe erreichbar. Nicht geeignet für Personen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität. Mit € 220/Nacht ungünstiges Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Modernes Bad mit Walk in Shower. Gutes Doppelbett. Gutes WIFI. Grosse Terrasse ohne Privatsphäre aufgrund naher Nachbarn. Schlüssel muss im ca. 100m entfernten Hotel Markusturm geholt und zurück gebracht werden. Ca. 100m entferntes Privatparking auf hoteleigener Brache am Ende der Wenggasse. Zu-und Wegfahrt zum Apt. gestattet. Bäckerei Stiffler in max. 5 Gehminuten in der Schmidgasse 1.

Cons:

Es besteht auch für die nächsten Monate eine bedeutende Baustelle im Nachbargebäude. Baulärm war jedoch minim.

Die Matraze war leider deutlich zu weich und ziemlich durchgelegen. Der Teppich im Treppenhaus hat definitiv schon bessere Zeiten gesehen

Lovely place, straight out of a picture postcard. With all the charm of Rothenburg
Pros:

Ok, this one blew my mind. It is a beautiful hotel, right next to one of the old city gates, in a building that has been supposedly standing since 1200s. The hotel offers valet service for parking so you can go with your car right up to the hotel door. Room was comfortable and well stocked. Overall feel of being in a B&B up in Vermont

Cons:

Breakfast spread was limited but value for money. But there are enough cafes (one very close) if you want to step out for breakfast

Fabulous and Charming Hotel near the Rathaus and Marktplatz
Pros:

The rooms were huge and tastefully appointed. The bathroom was also large and modern. They had cooling fans that worked like a/c. Our rooms faced a side street, so very little foot traffic and with the windows closed, you couldn't hear anything.

They are a pet-friendly hotel which also has two resident cats! Don Corleone (who we never saw) and Cappucino.

The staff was so friendly and went out of their way to ensure a wonderful visit. I have reserved rooms for during the Christmas Market directly with them, too.

The breakfast was copious and an excellent deal: 10 euros per person and included eggs three different ways (scrambled, hard/soft, sunny side up), a basket of local assorted rolls, jam, butter, cream cheese, charcuterie plate, smoked salmon on Sundays, yogurt with berry sauce, sunflower seeds, berries, cereals, a little piece of cake during the weeks and delectable mini heart waffles on Sundays. Tea and coffee and orange juice are also offered.

It's family run and they take pride in their home. It was truly a lovely experience and I'm excited to show friends the beauty of Rothenberg ob der Tauber and this hotel.

They even park your car for you, which is a huge bonus; only 12 euros to park per day. They are just two blocks from the Rathaus and Marktplatz, so you are close enough to be near everything and yet far enough to get a good night’s rest.

De ligging en de sfeer van de kamer.

Cons:

Het matras was voor ons wat te zacht.
Het ontbijt werd geserveerd aan tafel, dit had voor ons een lopend buffet mogen zijn.
