Es war fantastisch. Sehr ruhig und auch abgeschieden. Wir erhielten unverhofft ein Upgrade für den gleichen Preis in die große Villa mit eigenem Pool und Strandabschnitt. 3 Tage purer Luxus. Wir versuchten die Zeit anzuhalten, leider vergeblich. Das Frühstück war gut und gesund. Abends kann man mal dort essen oder man fährt mit dem eigenen Mietwagen 30min nach Cabarete. Danke euch beiden, Jasper und Alex.

Le Retreat est une expérience tout simplement merveilleuse. Le personnel, l'ambiance, la propreté, les logements, les repas. Tout est de haut niveau. Merci à Alex et les autres pour l'accueil, bon continuation à tous.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft und beste Lage - einfach ein Traum unter Palmen 🌴
Pros:

Die Unterkunft liegt idyllisch am Strand bei Las Canas. Wenn man die Unterkunft betritt, dann kann der Urlaub sofort beginnen: herzlicher Empfang vom Besitzer Alex und sein Team ♡ alle wirken sehr professionell!
Er kümmert sich um ALLES SOFORT und lässt keine Wünsche offen! Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet und frisch vorbereitet. ♡
Wundervoller Blick auf den Strand und Pool.
Leider hat es viel geregnet und das Meer war unruhig, aber dafür kann der Besitzer nichts!

Cons:

Gar nichts. Wer aber gerne shoppen, in die Stadt oder in ein Restaurant gehen möchte, der braucht schon ein Auto, Moped oder Taxi.

Face au déferlement des vagues de l'Atlantique, l'emplacement est magnifique
La piscine est accompagnée d'un jacuzzi chaud, c'est un luxe dans cet endroit venté
Bon accueil d'Alex, son espagnol lent (il est ukrainien) est plus facile à comprendre que celui demasiado rapido des dominicains

From the moment we arrived until we left, we felt pampered in beautiful property
Pros:

The location, beach, meals, and staff stood out. The resort is not in a tourist area and is surrounded by private homes. The beach was basically completely private. During the week we were there, we had the beach to ourselves 80% of the time. When we didn’t, there was one other family. The included breakfast was a full meal, with eggs, meat, pancakes, toast, and fruit. The optional dinners were equally well prepared. The grounds were well kept, and the manager and his staff were first class.

Cons:

The screens had some rips in them. The shower fixtures were a little dated. There was no microwave to pair with the fridge. None of these were big deals given the excellent value of this property.
