Pros:

Amazing hotel
Pros:

It's a very stylish hotel that clearly paid a lot of attention to details. The rooms are amazing, and the restaurant offers decent food.

Cons:

The reception and door people seemed to be distracted. They were absolutely nice when asked a question, but pretty reactive otherwise.

Stunning hotel
Pros:

The atmosphere, staff and accommodations were absolutely wonderful. The rooms were well furnished and the interior design was vibrant and stunning. We loved that we could walk to various restaurants and attractions nearby.

Cons:

We were going to use the valet service but the lanes were so backed up that we weren't able to get access. The easy solution for us was to park at the Smithfield/Liberty Street parking garage & walk up Strawberry Way straight to the hotel. Wasn't a bad walk at all.

Lovely rooms and great staff
Pros:

The room was large and had a great bathroom. I loved the decor and despite the size of the hotel it was very quiet. The staff were super friendly.

Cons:

No coffee or tea in the room (though there is complementary coffee in a separate lounge on the first floor)

Loved our time there, and we would definitely go back!
Pros:

We loved the decor of the entire hotel and our room specifically. The hotel’s location was ideally situated for attending the ballet at the Benedum Center, and we were surrounded by great cafés and restaurants. They had a lovely happy hour as well as complementary coffee in the morning. There was even a desk to write some postcards, and both the cards and the stamps were provided. The room was very comfortable with great bedding. We ordered room service from the fabulous restaurant downstairs and it was delivered quickly. The food was wonderful and next time we go, we’ll dine in a restaurant in person. We used the valet parking and the guys who parked our cars were very professional and quick. The bell men were also super helpful with our bags coming and going.

Cons:

I would like to have been able to turn the thermostat lower than 67. I’m a hot sleeper! But honestly, that’s it, we really loved everything else.

The staff was helpful, pleasant, and efficient. The design and decor made the stay unique.

Cons:

While the design and decor was interesting in a good way, the upkeep was lacking. Fit and finish was showing it's age and need freshened up. Some of the furnishings in our room had stains and should have been corrected prior to booking the room. One of the floor lamps was plugged in with an orange extension cord. 😳 Many manufacturers make beautiful fabric cover cords made for this application.

Amazing! Definitely stay here!
Pros:

Everything about this hotel was fantastic! This was my third stay at a Kimpton, and every one has been amazing. From the spacious room and beautiful décor to the incredibly comfortable bed and large bathroom, every detail was thoughtfully done. The overall atmosphere was stylish and welcoming, and the complimentary happy hour for guests was such a nice touch. Kimpton truly goes above and beyond, and I can’t wait to stay again.

Cons:

Nothing could have been better.

Pros:

Beautiful property, love the eccentric style, staff was wonderful and very attentive. The bed was very comfortable and the onsite restaurant, The commenor was delicious. I also used the gym, which had everything I needed .

A great location for a unique hotel with kind and caring staff!
