Nice get away for a few days
Pros:

Big bedroom and bathroom. Could use some updating. Tub was difficult to get into(I’m 70)very high. Nice grounds. Basket breakfast was good.

Charming but flawed facility
Pros:

Comfortable bed. Charming idea to have bathroom and bedroom share a fireplace.

Cons:

First, our air conditioner stopped working, so we were told to use window air conditioner. Then, timer on electric fireplace for stuck, so instead of turning off as we drifted off to sleep, it stayed in all night, rendering the room stifling. Third, the shower is ridiculously laid out. Fourth, despite completing a breakfast dossier, our breakfast did not come out complete. Finally, the hanger steak was tasteless.

Wonderful place would love to return.
Pros:

Breakfast was delicious and delivered to our room on time
The dinner we had was also delicious and great service.
The lady at the front desk was so nice and helpful.

Pros:

Beautiful, well-appointed inn. They upgraded our room for no charge, which was very nice. Friendly staff and convenient location. Will come back in cooler months to enjoy the fireplace in the room.

Pros:

The inn is beautiful and quiet with a lovely pond and garden for sitting. The food is wonderful and thoughtfully prepared and every staff person was friendly and happy to help with great local information.

Cons:

Adirondack chairs in a beautiful back yard compliment this extremely well maintained historic property.

Awesome except heat
Pros:

Richard at the front desk was welcoming and professional.

Our suite did not have heat and desk closed at 11,while we got to our room at 12.

Pros:

The cottage was amazing! Breakfast was incredible every day and we wound up eating at the Restaurant one evening and the food was first class.

Quiet, elegant and homey - a wonderful place to stay.
Pros:

My daughter and I had a wonderful time. We were given a room upgrade to the library room which was greatly appreciated. It was a beautiful room with a very comfortable bed, gorgeous bathroom and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The breakfasts that were delivered to our door in a basket were delicious. Definitely a cut above the normal fare.

Perfect Inn for a mini reunion!
Pros:

Great location in the village and a welcoming staff. Bed was so comfortable and we had a gas fire place that we used! Beautiful interior decor. Comfy chairs and couches.
And the breakfast was a treat.

Cons:

Might be hard to find the Inn initially in the dark . Small sign.

We would stay here again.
Pros:

The fireplace was a nice touch, loved the bed and bathroom. The basket breakfast was very enjoyable. Great location close to everything.

Cons:

We couldn't get the ironing board to fold, and there was only one small folding table to eat the basket breakfast on.

We would definitely come again!
Pros:

Good location, friendly staff, clean and good breakfast included. We also had dinner one evening and it was delicious. Rooms tastefully decorated and cosy especially with the fireplace.

Cons:

The pillows were a little hard. It was a bit noisy (hum sound) 2 of the 3 mornings in our particular room. We think it was due to the kitchen below or heating system.
