Would recommend for the type of stay we had for Grand Prix and entering from southern end.
Pros:

Roomy and quiet. Coffee machine in foyer area. Washing machine dryer was very useful. Had to go to hospital briefly and there was one very close.

Cons:

Handy for transport but a little out of town. Still trams were frequent so easy to get in and out.

Странно писать в этом поле "ничего", но в реальности мы в этом отеле не жили, не смотря на то, что бронирование не было отменено. Так что написать что-то хорошее об этом отеле не получится.

Cons:

За 4 месяца до проживания был забронирован номер в этом отеле. Букинг подтвердил бронирование. За месяц до поездки мне приходит сообщение от администрации этого отеля с извинениями из-за того, что принять они нас не смогут, потому что у них прорвало трубу (или какая-то поломка). На будущее- это оказалось враньем.
Но они предлагают нам прекрасный вариант - проживание в их соседнем отеле, который расположен рядом (а именно в отеле MainStay Suites Hawthorn). За туже сумму, что и предполагалась раньше. Т.к. за месяц до проживания мы не могли найти отель, который примет нас за эту сумму, то мы согласились. Мне на почту присылают "подтверждение" бронирования в соседнем отеле. Менеджер MainStay Suites Abbotsford, который общается со мной, предельно любезен и говорит, что никаких проблем нет. За несколько дней до поездки он дополнительно письменно подтверждает, что меня ждут именно в MainStay Suites Hawthorn. Каково же было наше удивление, когда, приехав в Hawthorn со всеми подтверждениями, администратор заявляет что никакого бронирования нет, и отель переполнен, поселить нас не могут, и просит ехать в Abbotsford! Но, в Abbotsford также нет мест, о чем нас уведомила девушка-администратор. И она сказала что наше бронирование у них отменено, потому что весь отель был забронирован для проведения какого-то соревнования спортивного (то есть не из-за поломки!). Они просто обманули нас! но, т.к. бронирование на букинге есть, и ей приходится искать для меня новые варианты. В итоге мы прождали 1,5 часа пока ей удалось найти для нас номер в третьем отеле, который был уже хуже расположен, куда надо было забираться на 5 этаж без лифта, но у нас вариантов не было. При этом они хотели, что б мы еще и доплатили за новый вариант проживания, хотя ошибка была на их стороне! Мы потеряли пол дня из-за безответственности и вранья сотрудников этого отеля. Не ставля 1 балл только за то, что фактически мы не жили в отеле и было бы нечестно занижать все оценки.

Comfortable and convenient.
Pros:

Being on the third floor gave us a view of trees and sky. It was nice to have a balcony. Parking cost extra but made it easy to have the car in the city. Triple glazing kept the noise out.

Cons:

The only external air came through the door to the balcony so when that was closed for quiet it felt a bit stuffy. The shower was more like a water jet !

Pros:

The location to a main tram line, made it very easy to access other parts of the city.
Conveniences like a grocery store nearby and shopping mall meant there is everything you need in walking distance in the local area.
