A great hotel in central New York
Pros:

This is an excellent hotel in central Manhattan, within walking distance of Broadway. For its comfort and location it is very reasonably priced. The room was large, very comfortable and comes with a well-stocked minibar. Room service was excellent (I had my meal in under 20 minutes) The staff was very helpful, despite my having to extend my stay for two days, then shorten it again. (My flight was cancelled.)

Cons:

The free wifi cut out once, but I was back online in less than a minute. Nothing else comes to mind.

Most shittest Breakfast service in my life. No organisation, you need to wait 1h before you will sit, and 1h after you order.

Disappointing experience - not a 5 star hotel
Pros:

The location is good and it’s very near the subway. Hats off to the female member of staff who moved my room when I reported an issue - she was polite and dealt with the issue professionally.

Cons:

I found the experience really disappointing considering the cost of the room. The room wasn’t clean (pubic hair in the bath…) and there was a leak in the ceiling which led me to being moved rooms. The pool wasn’t open at the scheduled time but 2 hours late - we were fobbed off for over an hour by different members of staff who just kept blaming the delay on the life guard not showing up and said they couldn’t do anything about it. We felt that staff clearly didn’t care until we dealt with a female member of staff who gave us complimentary breakfast (that was appreciated). It was ironic because when the lifeguard did turn up, he kept disappearing for long periods of time! Check in was also an hour later than advertised on their website and one of the front desk staff were rude on check in. I’m not really sure how this hotel claims to be 5 star - it’s 3 at best. I stayed for only a night hoping to have a great final night in NYC and a lazy pool morning - I wish I hadn’t bothered as it was a waste of money.

Royalton Park Hotel spectacular stay
Pros:

I had the best time at the hotel! Rooms were spectacular and clean and I loved the bathroom with the standalone shower and big tub. The was long and big and incredible room size was huge and the rooftop restaurant was so much fun and amazing! I will 100% stay again. The front desk staff too is so accommodating Professional and helpful.

Royalton stay
Pros:

The staff were all great location is great walking distance from lots of key attractions and easy access to subways to go that bit further.

Cons:

That there was no mugs or kettle in the room an espresso machine is not what folk want they want tea and coffee selections to choose from first thing upon waking not have to leave the room for morning coffee. The air con was very old and noisy new updated individual room air con units would fix that and are much quieter.
