Pros:

We were told Nevada City downtown was a 15 minute walk; we drove since it was our first time to that area, plus it was raining and dark. There are a variety of restaurants.
It was so nice and welcoming to be greeted by a lovely receptionist offering tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fruit. In the morning pastries, cereal, instant oatmeal helped us start our day. Rooms are a little older but very clean so we didn't mind.

Would definitely stay there again!
Pros:

The location is very close to downtown Nevada City. Although it was close to the road, once you close the door, you can hardly hear the sound of cars whizzing past.

Cons:

WOuld be nice to have a doormat outside the door to wipe shoes before coming into the room.

Pros:

Un grand hôtel avec plusieurs bâtiments sans une partie boisée. La chambre et la literie étaient top. On va chercher notre petit déjeuner au lobby mais ce n’est pas dérangeant. On a beaucoup aimé les lieux.

Cons:

Un meilleur entretien de l’espace extérieur rendrait le lieu encore plus sympa.

Beautiful scenic great location
Pros:

This was a beautiful location nestled in the woods right inside the city gorgeous grounds to walk through and a train that took you into Nevada City

Cons:

There was absolutely nothing we didn't like we will return time after time we plan on staying for New Year's Eve The close proximity to the city is amazing

I stayed in the studio room this time it was very nice,kind of like a little apartment.
Pros:

There is a beautiful creek and walking trail my dog loved it. The staff was very helpful.

Nice location, but minor inconvenience’s
Pros:

Nice location, beautiful scenery. It was quiet considering how close to the highway it was.
The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious.

Cons:

The light in the bathroom was on a sensor, while taking a shower it would turn off. You’d have to open the shower door to turn the light back on.
The towels were far too small and thin, I’d expect a much better quality of towel for this type of hotel, these towels are for the no name type of hotel.

I was shown one room, three Chalets and three cabins they were all equally filthy and deteriorated.

Nice private place to relax! It was perfect!
Pros:

Great place in the middle of a woodsy area! Loved the privacy! The cabin was spacious.

Cons:

The carpet had lots of white patches from a carpet powder that should've been vacuumed. It was kind of weird. And a big box of armor hammer was left on the kitchen table and a towel on the floor of the balcony.

Pros:

The hotel setting was terrific. Rooms were clean and comfy. Shout out to PATRICK who, although busy, answered all our questions politely. Thanks for the free train ride too. I would recommend this place to friends and will stay again when in the area!
