My stay
Pros:

The location, the friendly staff and over all ambiance was pleasant.

Cons:

The fridge didn't work as well as the aircon. Being on meds that had to be refrigerated this caused an inconvenience.

Decent, fair...but could be better.
Pros:

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was clean. Breakfast was good and food overall was good.

Cons:

My main issue was thr aircon in the room, which I was told by maintenance, only worked with the room card slotted in by the door. Maintenance was nice enough to provide me with an additional room card. The hotel apparently has control over the aircons and have them set to a low level. My room was too hot. The wait for service during dinner was extremely long, even though the restaurant wasn't that busy. Room service didn't respond to me at all, even though I called several times.

It could have been so much better especially for the cost of the stay

The overall room and service was great

Cons:

The bed was horrible so was the pillows. They were old and uncomfortable. We were not able have a good sleep. The pillows and bed were so horrible that we woke up with body aches and headaches.

We forgot an item in the room. We received a call promptly to let us know of it. Much appreciated.

Cons:

Wifi access password should be in the room or given to guests when checking in. I had to call reception.

Number for reception not clearly stated/shown in the room or next to the phone.

Bottled water should be made available in the room on the house since durban water experiences sanitation issues.

Per nightly rates are quite high. It doesn't make sense that guests need to pay for parking separately like one does at a mall.
