Close to everything
Room was very hot
Robert and the front staff were very welcoming.
The set up was fantastic. The kindness of all staff members was wonderful. Staff answered all questions we had on various days and did whatever they could to fill our requests. Valet parking worked well and Robert and others were fun to talk with.
There was no area nearby to accommodate service dog needs such as going to the bathroom.
Fantastic location. Loved the balcony on our room and the rooftop pool. Comfy beds. Lovely employees.
If you go to bed early, choose a room with a river view. The shops below don’t close until 11 so it can be noisy. We didn’t mind it at all, as we liked the vibe.
The staff was great facility was clean. Liked the location and lucked out on the rate.
Having to pay for parking and this wasnt valet as it was extra. Onwas told parking was free after i booked the room And our room was way at the other end. Kind of disappointed at first thought we had the fountain view but it was the village side. Otherwise it was nice. Other than the parking. Why would someone have too pay for it when other places are free.
The room was awesome and the location was perfect. We enjoyed our afternoon spent at the rooftop pool and bar. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Not sure why we had to pay to park our car when the island parking lots were free.
The hotel was nice. Love the overall look of the hotel. The whole hotel smelled amazing. Beds were very comfortable The rooms were very large and lots of counter space. We have a room overlooking the river. But it wasn’t a very good view.
The bathroom has some hair on the baseboards
Wishing it has a breakfast included for the price.
Also needs more free weights in the gym.

Our room overlooked the village near one of the dinosaurs. Very spacious and clean. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom very large. Shower was amazing. Traveled with our small dog and hotel is very pet friendly. Pool and hot tub are great.
Ive stayed here many times and my only complaint is there is no good grassy area close to the hotel for your pet to potty. We walked her down towards the parking lot each time but sometimes shes so little and old in the mornings its hard for her to hold her pee and could only make it to the flower beds out front. I, as a pet owner, felt bad about that but my little old girl had a hard time with that but I will stay here again.
It’s where all the action is located
The parking is very far from the property and it seemed a lot of the parking reserved for guest was being occupied by staff
Everything! The location and staff were amazing!

The room was big and we loved it not having carpet!
It wasn’t that we didn’t like but we do like that Gatlinburg has multiple areas for couples away from the crowd. Like hammocks, multiple fire pits and seating overlooking the river.
It was the perfect place. I would rather go there than Disney World. Less crowded, cheaper, better shopping. Staff were super friendly. We had to
Leave early due to a family emergency and they were very cooperative. We are already talking about going back next year.
Everything
Cleanliness and friendly staff
Everything was perfect
I was told there are 4 Margaritaville Hotels on the property when we tried checking into the wrong hotel, so pay attention to which one you are booking. My family and I stayed at the Island Hotel.
My first impression was take your Adderall before you go because there is so much going in the strip outside the hotel, it's hard to take it all in! It's like a big carnival outside, but the rooms are quiet. My biggest (and only) complaint is the scent pumped into the rooms was overwhelming and made me nauseous. I'm really sensitive to the smell of Zep cleaning products and it smelled a lot like that. I eventually got used to it and only noticed it when I walked back into the room after being outside
PRO: THERE'S A STARBUCKS IN THE HOTEL! Valet service and a bell hop is available. The Valets were considerate and had our AC on max cooling everytime we got in the car. There's a roof top bar and pool with a great view of the attractions.
The reason for our trip was to go to DollyWood, but I wish we didn't already buy our tickets there because attractions right outside the hotel were much better! I highly recommend going to the SkyFly: Soar America theater. It's is similar to the Soaring ride at Disney. We also had a lot of fun playing the 7D Dark Ride Adventure.
RESTAURANTS; We had dinner at Timberwood Grill: It's located in the strip and was the best restaurant out of the 3 we dined at. I wish we would have eaten there first. Drinks were great.
We also had dinner at Margaritaville Restaurant (not inside the Hotel). If you want a cocktail, bring your ID. They check it even if you are elderly. They charge a lot for the cocktails so you can take home a souvenir cup that you'll probably never use again. Even though the restaurant has the same name as the hotel, they aren't affiliated with each other so you can't charge anything to your room. All things said, the food was pretty good and the margaritas were excellent.
We had breakfast at Paula Deen's. I know she's known for her down-home, southern cooking and putting lots of butter in her recipes which usually makes everything delicious. But everything we ordered was extremely rich, even the scrambled eggs.. The hashbrown casserole tasted like it was baked in loads of butter and sour cream. Everything was tasty, just know what your signing up for!
it was clean and the staff was outstanding
