Location is perfect. Staff is super friendly. Can’t wait to go back.
Not a single thing.
Great location on The Island, and very close to Dollywood Theme Park
The Island is so popular now, that it can get slammed with people.
We had Valet parking, and literally it made the difference, getting in and out of the hotel.
Everything went smoothly from check in to check out! The property itself is beautiful, with plenty of amenities on site! The fountain show views from the rooftop bar is a must see!
The whole experience. The hotel itself was amazing. Location was phenomenal, it was like an all-inclusive resort (minus the paid-for meals). Restaurants, shops, and entertainment were all within a short walk. I never had to leave for anything but the initial run to the Publix across the street for a few necessities.
Limited access to the thermostat. I am very hot-natured and was not able to turn the temp down enough to cool me off at night.
Would have had a 5 star review on everything, but there was one thing stopping it, the A/c. As a middle aged, perimenopause woman, not being able to control the a/c come night time like to killed me. Thank God the maintenance and front desk were wonderful and brought us a box fan( which helped a lot!) awesome hotel other than that. We will be back!
Room was right on Pigeon Forge Island. We could walk to all of the activities on the island. Everything off the island was only a few miles away.
No complaints
We checked in on a Sunday, and the process was quick and easy. The complimentary margaritas and coupon booklet were a nice surprise and a great way to start our stay. We decided to use the valet service, which I’ll touch on later.
We stayed in a two-room suite overlooking the fountain, and the location was fantastic. The suite had two balconies—one facing the fountain and one on the back side of the building. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the view, and people-watch.
The bathrooms were clean and nicely appointed, but they could really use a few hooks for hanging wet towels and swimsuits. The bedroom with the two twin beds did not have direct air conditioning, so it became very warm and stuffy. After an uncomfortable first night, we figured out that leaving the bedroom door open allowed enough airflow to make it comfortable but we sacrificed privacy since the door needed to stay open. The living room also could have benefited from one more comfortable chair, but since we weren’t in the room much, it wasn’t a major issue. The kitchenette was a nice bonus for keeping drinks and snacks cold.
The rooftop pool was one of our favorite amenities, and the margaritas were excellent. We also ate at the hotel restaurant, and the food exceeded our expectations.
The only major disappointment was the valet service. The convenience of valet parking was great, but the way it was handled was concerning. Most of the time our vehicle was brought up promptly, but it was routinely left running with the keys inside and unlocked. At no point during our stay were we ever asked to verify our claim ticket or room number before receiving our vehicle. One afternoon, we looked down from our balcony and noticed our vehicle sitting in the valet area with the engine running, even though we had never requested it. When we went downstairs, we were told it had been sitting there that way for about an hour. We asked them to take it back. While nothing happened to our vehicle, the lack of security and accountability was disappointing and is something that should be addressed.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. The location, fountain-view suite, rooftop pool, restaurant, and overall atmosphere made for a great experience. We would definitely stay here again, but we sincerely hope management reviews and improves the valet operation, as it was the one aspect that did not meet the standard of an otherwise excellent hotel.
This property was fantastic. The rooms were so nice and clean. the bed was very comfortable. We had double queens, and there were dimmer lights and nightstands on both sides of the bed, which was super convenient. The shower was a stand up and had two shower heads. Food at all restaurants was quick and we never had to wait for a table. The rooftop pool was awesome and stays open till 11:00 pm. Kids wanted to pay cornhole, but the bean bags were missing, but not a big deal. The hotel is conveniently located to everything and even though it said 11:00pm closing of places on the island, most were still open (like the arcade) and past 11:00. My only gripe would be that we had called for housekeeping to come get our garbage and give us new bags, but they never came. I just found a worker and got them from them. If there is a Margarita resort in any of my travel destinations, I most definitely will be staying.
We are repeat guests and plan to continue !
Rooms are so clean and fresh, beds so comfortable, awesome staff from valet to check out and all in between. Everything is right at your fingertips and we never even moved the car. Attention to detail is in everything ! My only recommendations or suggestions are that 1) I’d love to see more cold items added to menu at Fins. A cold chicken salad or meat and cheese and fruit plate , or chips w/ guacamole or queso would be so good for poolside food since you can’t bring in your own food. 2) I feel like for the price , a complimentary , small grab n go breakfast should be offered ie; yogurt and fruit, muffin, coffee. Many other area hotels offer this and If the little motels can do it, certainly Margaritaville can! And last suggestion, 3) the pool maintenance wasn’t as usual this time. Water was fairly clean and safe for sure but it’s usually sparkling and floaty debris kept netted out. Was consistently a bit cloudy and debris this stay. Maybe the pool employees were out sick because it’s definitely not the norm! Still overall 9/10 and we will be back again.
We have stayed here so many times and loved it each time. However, I recently realized we only loved it for the convenience, not for the hotel. It really has nothing more than the valet parking (which we pay for), and a cool view of the island/fountain/river. There is no included breakfast or anything other than some water at the door, the Margaritaville perks was down (while we spent over $1,000 to stay there), we had to ask for towels because our room was never touched while we were there, and then we called for the car and it took over 30 minutes for valet to return our car to us- with a 4 year old in tow, that really sucked. I think this was our last trip there and will now be staying elsewhere on our 4 trips to PF and Gatlinburg each year.
Love this place and will definitely be back We have been here before and love the balcony facing the dancing water. It is so relaxing.
A great place to stay on your vacation. So much to do right there at Margaritaville. Shops, restaurants, rocking chairs to sit and enjoy local musicians, and watch the lighted fountain. There are lots of activities to entertain the whole family. There is a pool, rides for children and adults. There is lots to see and do in Pigeon Forge if you stay longer, There is plenty of parking, you can have valet parking for $25.00 a day or park your self for $10.00 a day. This is our “Go To” vacation place.
