Four Stars? Well marble finishes in a tiny bathroom does not make a 4 star hotel!

'Double Room' they must have counted the balcoy in the SF! We literally could not pass each other at the foot of the bed *minus one

Hallways - carpet smelled in all the hallways. Looked as old as me and I was born in 1961!

At most 3 stars, but for $365 per night, way overpriced just to have a view of the lake!

The location is fantastic. Rooms are very small but that’s fine if only there for a couple of days.
Very convenient for the ferry to visit many different towns on the lake.

Terrible soundproofing. You can hear all your neighbors. Rooms are small. View is great.

Overall, wonderful hotel and experience

Except for the location which is right next to Lake Como, there is not much reason left to select this hotel. Old, very small rooms (once your suitcase is on the floor - and that’s where it will need to be - you’ll need to hop over it to reach the window), even smaller bathrooms (if you are taller than 1,85m you’ll have a hard time taking a shower). Our room was described as having a “balcony” which was a 30cm wide extension of the window, no room to sit. The carpet in our floor was showing its many decades of use; stains, smells and simply not a place I’d walk barefoot. I wish I could have anything positive to say about the room but I don’t. We paid for 2 nights as booked, but ended up staying only 1. The staff was friendly and the dinner was tasty.

Location location location our balcony view of lake como was outstanding. Staff was outstanding. Breakfast was very good. The bathroom was very small my knees were under the sink to sit down. Tv did not work the whole time we were there they tried to fix it but only one channel. The staff more than makes up for any negatives. Parking is 600 yards away but secure

The location on the main pier in Sobia was unbeatable, and the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful.

Is a very nice property although is almost 100 yrs old hotel the facilities are updated and clean I. Enjoy very much my stay

Good hotel with lots of charm in a quiet area on the lake . Only negative is the check in staff they are not friendly at all and seem. It to like their job ! I guess they don’t understand they have jobs because of the guests who visit . I heard property was sold will be renovated in near future .

This is not a value for money option. You pay for a quite old facility with a poor quality interior. Though, the location is just superb, in the very heart of the resort with a lot of nice places and restaurants all around.

Excellent location! The staff was very helpful and friendly. We walked in the area, rented a boat to explore the lake and took the ferry

was charged a much more expensive price. The hotel blamed Expedia and Expedia blamed the hotel. Nobody could fix the problem.. so both the hotel and Expedia were wrong and nobody cared to help. Won’t use either again.
